• Syncthing or git annex functionally the same
• So is every other terminal

Basically just wasting resources for no reason

You can basically have a “full” desktop environment with hyprland+nwg-panel+7 other programs, I’m not sure why nobody has distributed something like this preconfigured though. I’m planning on cooking one up.

It has no meaningful place or benefits and everyone defending it seems to just be saying “erm, well why not!” and ignoring the problems its caused when compared to distros like endeavouros
