Since Sync came out, absolutely love it! Hope more people join!
I’m happy as a pig in shit now that Sync for Lemmy is out! Already paid the $20 to remove ads, love it!!!
I won’t… I primarily use Reddit through SyncPro, I won’t be downloading the Reddit app as it’s a steaming pile of garbage. My Reddit use has already dropped by 90%, as I do sometimes use it from my PC.
I don’t really care… Reddit is constantly spamming me with follow bots from Only Fans, and I have never posted in a NSFW sub.
I’m also hopeful the way this is structured we will see a bit better moderation of servers/subs.
Ok thank you very much for the information! I really liked Fedora, and performance was excellent when plugged in, it was simply the mobile aspect. I need to install the latest version again at some point here.
Hmm, I think I was using the settings built into fedora, but also tried doing some manual edits. The issue was mostly related to standby battery life during suspend, and in general on battery efficiency compared to Windows. In fairness it’s a Ryzen 6850u which is newer and probably not as prolific. Everything else ran really well though!
I am on Mac OS El Monterey for audio production work, and Windows 10 for general productivity/gaming.
I love Fedora, but found battery life less than optimal, and many of the programs I need for employment simply do not have Linux versions.
Well, unfortunately we have more than our share of the brainwashed here…
Incredibly sensible take on all accounts in my opinion! I share all of the same opinions, though I lack the platform to be listened too haha.
I actually agree with him, and I am not an employee of the gaming industry. In the mid 90s N64 carts were freaking $79.99 at one point early on! I realize part of this is because the carts were expensive, but even CD based games were not THAT far behind at $49.99 or $59.99 as I recall. I realize they don’t have the same physical distribution costs, but game prices really have not kept up with inflation. Growing up it was a big freaking deal to get a new NES game you damn well better learn to love it, like it or not haha. Now… games are generally much more affordable for the average family, plus if you just wait a bit and don’t buy on release (barring Nintendo 1st party titles) they are way cheaper!
