And I must say that MKW is pretty fun, I love roaming around the world just doing tricks and exploring hidden areas!

It adds something’s that I found lacking in MK8, I would only play MK8 for Cups or Online, now there is an environment which ties everything together, with Easter eggs and collectibles, and I can learn the tracks without the pressure of a timer or a race ending soon.

First of all, the language is lisp inspired. ArkScript has s-expressions and code as data via its macros, its reads the same (left to right, prefix notation).

Keywords wise, we are not the same, which is a small but striking difference when comparing them side by side.

ArkScript has no classes nor structures, and no quoting/quasiquoting.

AFAICT both ArkScript and Common Lisp (a big lisp contender) have lexical scoping, so no real difference here.

ArkScript has strong dynamic typing too, like many other lisp.

The big advantage I would say ArkScript has, is its embedded capabilities. You can very easily use it in a project, as its C++ API has been designed for this.

The hori split pads are great, but you can’t use them wirelessly. And the adapter that exists to use the pad not on the Switch is wired. Otherwise it’s 100% better and have really nice joysticks (now I can’t use that as an excuse for loosing on Mario kart…)

Luckily the GB(A) consoles are the easiest to mod nowadays, to add backlight, rechargeable battery, better audio… IMHO this is still the best way to enjoy GB/GBA games, instead of emulators which can be buggy/force me to stay on the computer (or worse, on my phone)

Ask yourself: do you really need a performance boost or are you just chasing the numbers to avoid a non-existant problem?

Funny playing IPS v3 and shell+buttons (for IPS), clean juice rechargeable battery. They both have guides and that’s the only thing I needed.

The Model M sure looks really cool! I’ve 'ever used one, but it feel very retro (and I like retro stuff too) and the community generally agrees that they have really good switches. What do you use your Model M for?

Apparently I collect keyboards (specifically split ones: you have 17-20 keys for each hands), I just love building them it feels like playing with Lego but you get a working tool after you’re done! And you can program it however you like too, for “I need to find the perfect setup” people like me, this is the cherry on top.

I also have a few manga and a growing collection of Lord of the Rings related books, I just think this is really neat.

Alas I don’t think this will happen, people prefer when stuff is done without doing it themselves, because then you need to take responsibilities (myself included)

Because it’s opensource too. Works very well, vault is password protected and AES encrypted. Easy to configure, very lightweight.

I don’t know, I’m an open source dev too, but my time is valuable and I can’t (and won’t) just work for free on dozens of bug reports from a user that don’t want to investigate first by themselves.

Yeah open source is great, but if you want support you have look at the code and read the damn documentation first ; I lost a lot of time just directing users to docs because they can’t read.
