I’m a Blender3D user. The vertical axis for me is Z. :V
Good, you’re not missing much.
Went to the Premier. I’m never getting that time back.
Andor and The Clone Wars are a must watch.
The Clone Wars because it covers a huge important period in Star Wars. But be warned, the episode order is not the correct order! If you watch The Clone Wars in episode order you’ll be confused! Here’s a link to the official story order of The Clone Wars.
Andor because it’s probably the best Star Wars series to date. Also the most mature one. The ending of Andor flows directly into the beginning of Rogue One, so if you haven’t seen Rogue One yet you can watch that movie as the big finale.
There are other series as well, a mixed bag of good and bad, but you won’t miss much ignoring them.
I have two little sisters. This hasn’t happened.
At an 11 year old!? Are pedos normalised where she comes from!?
Being explained doesn’t make it a good idea or well explained. It was an excuse.
For the record, I watched the movie here in Copenhagen in Imperial, at the time the largest cinema in Denmark, on its premier. Walking out of the cinema I noticed most of the people didn’t seem all too… Cheerful.
I watched it twice afterwards, the following years, with a mix of other people. The Rise of Skywalker has only gotten worse in subsequent viewings.
The movie isn’t difficult to understand. Maybe for you, but that says a lot more about just… you. It’s simply an awful execution of a bunch of really bad ideas.
Rise of Skywalker’s narrative isn’t bad because Poe said “somehow Palpatine returned”, but because that movie’s narrative is “somehow Palpatine returned”, and Poe literally saying it like that embodies the entire problem perfectly.
They could’ve replaced Rey with a plank of wood in Rise of Skywalker and it wouldn’t have changed much.
Star Wars character dialogue has been shit, because Lucas can’t write good dialogue. But he’s great at creating worlds and adventures in those worlds.
Star Wars became what it is because of that. The sequel trilogy, however, has neither.
No, it’s pretty definitive proof the movie is bad. The world just has easily amused dummies.
Stop comparing the new to the old.
Why? The sequel trilogy is doing itself all the time. So why shouldn’t we?
Aren’t these also Star Wars movies? Set in the Star Wars universe?
The Last Jedi wasn’t interesting. It was one piece of wasted potential after another.
We got what looked like the start of what could’ve been the best buddy friendship in The Force Awakens, only for The Last Jedi to completely ignore that potential.
It turned Finn into a coward, then forced a character he had no chemistry with onto him.
The casino arc was this attempt at rolling in some sort of… Message…? As if we don’t already know about neutral profiteers like The Banking Clan. And then it still only pays minor lip service to this message.
Captain Phasma was completely useless. Snoke was completely useless. Luke Skywalker could’ve been an interesting direction, but nothing was done with him and then he died after one cool moment.
It had scenes and direction that made absolutely no logical sense, even internally. Such as slow as shit bombers getting completely wasted when only one was actually needed. A complete lack in competent leadership causing a mutiny, which would’ve been interesting if it was meant that way, but it’s not. Deus Ex Rose dooming her comrades.
I dunno. The amount of (deserved) flak the likes of Kevin Feige, JJ Abrahams, and Alex Kurtzman are getting for ruining the ships they’re running kinda disproves that.
Why argue with you if I can just laugh at you?
It’s about certain women who believe that a man approaching her for any reason immediately means the man is coming on to her.

I only spent 99 DKK (Danish kroner) on a Switch 2 + Mario Kart World because a local company briefly fucked their pricing.
The system is certainly worth 99 DKK, that much I can say. Though… I find myself mostly still graviting to emulated MK8D.
The best part is most people have one.
Then I should be able to see inside their bodies and all their internal organs from my three-dimensional perspective. :V
