I deal with this at one of my jobs. We offer the moon to new customers, but existing customers are constantly getting screwed over. People complain about it constantly, but corporations have no incentive to reduce the amount of money they’re receiving from you, which could open the doors to losing income from every other customer who decides to ask, when they can just roll the dice on whether you decide to go through the hassle of leaving. It’s scummy and I don’t agree with it on a personal level, but the agent you’re talking to has no power to change the system.

There is almost always a button next to the title of the blog post that says “Jump to Recipe”. It works. I try to spread this knowledge whenever I see people complaining about the SEO essay.

Graphics peaked for me in the 360 era. Bioshock Infinite is probably the best that graphics ever needed to get. Focus on frame rate and shit, I guess, but I don’t need my mud brown shooters to look any more hyper realistic than they did in 2013.

The reason these conversations are so unproductive is because some people take the wildest read of these jokes (“all men are rapists”) and get offended by them, when the surface reading (“men like the idea of meeting a random woman, women do not like the idea of meeting a random man”) is crystal clear and non-controversial. This joke could be from a Seinfeld opening monologue, it’s such a generic piece of observational comedy.

I know it’s been said a thousand times, but the books really are immensely better than the show. And they have a proper ending! The last 3 unadapted books are arguably the best part of the series, and Alex is there since there was no dipshit actor to get himself fired.

The person in the picture definitely has a slightly unusual figure, I think exaggerated by their clothes, which could be perceived as a generation error. The image also has a certain painterly tone to the colors that resembles that of an AI image.

I don’t think the answer to the corrupting influence of America’s rotting republic is to become a two party system.

Some of the boards use a system called tripcodes, which are essentially a username and password in one that are used when writing individual posts. It allows people to prove that they’re the same person across multiple posts, without anything as identifying as a user profile attached.
