  • Some people can have a fatigue where they’re tired of just moving platform to platform. Communicating platforms is heavily saturated to where, nobody would feel that grand of a difference going from Discord to that platform when they can still do the basics. People still wouldn’t leave Facebook, even, despite that platform having largely corroded over the years.

Until Discord is like charging people to use it, people aren’t going to budge. In a world where your privacy is circumvented whether you know it or not, a lot of people just shrug their shoulders at you when you present alternatives all like “ehh, cool” before just resuming what they’re already using.

  • I’m not. Because I find that the movement possesses extremist views and perspectives that I simply cannot follow.

I do support the rights for women to have abortions, their body their choice, to have more equality and other things and I don’t support misogyny. But I also do not condone the idea that men are all bad because a woman experienced just a couple of bad apples. I don’t think women should have advantageous edges over men, because again, the idea is about equality, not about getting a leg over someone based on gender.

  • I’m going to have to step in and correct you on something because I’ve followed the news of TorrentFreak for years and noted how the entertainment industry has focused their tactics.

From the 2000s through early 2010s, they went after everyone and I mean everyone. Everyone who both downloaded and distributed what they considered copyright infringement. They’ve targeted many people, including people who both were old and didn’t have internet but sued them anyways for thousands of dollars.

However at somepoint in the mid-2010s, they changed tactics. They know it’s a losing battle to go after so many downloaders because piracy was more adopted. So, they decided to go after distributors and those who stream what they see as illegal.

I’m pretty positive though that if they still wanted to, they’ll take down a downloader, if you make a blip on the radar. I don’t exactly know what it’ll take but it has to be significant enough to grab their attention. But for now, they’re after site owners, streamers, distributors and notorious individuals who house a lot of downloaded content.

And this too will also be freaking online-only. I don’t know why I got Diablo IV, but I have it and I haven’t touched it. Because I once revisited Diablo III to see if I can stoke interest in it, to find that I had connection issues, then remembered “Oh right, it’s also ONLINE-ONLY”.

I’m sick of this shit being online only.
