Well if you’ve ever patched with Revancify for example you know that some patches have options that you can configure to create a more personalized YouTube mod for you. Now you can also do it on the ReVanced Manager itself.

#Download Feature isn’t working RVX

• You need to include the “Overlay Buttons” patch.
• The ReVanced Extended download function is separate from the official YT Premium download feature which is reserved to YT Premium members. The function can be enabled by going into Settings -> Revanced Extended -> Overlay Buttons -> Show download button = On. The download button will appear besides the full screen button in the video player.
• When you press the download button it will attempt to open YTDLnis so make sure you have it installed.

#My device doesn’t support the Managers

• Check out this post that explains how you can still use Revanced even though your device doesn’t support the managers.

#“Error: Patch is not supported for this app version.”

• Download an apk of the recommended/suggested version and patch that from storage. When downloading make sure to only download from trusted sources like apkmirror, apkpure and uptodown and only using full apks instead of using bundles.

#“Error: Non-root install is not possible with the current patches selection.”

• Make sure to include the “MicroG Support” patch and repatch.

#“App not installed.”

• If there was a Google Play Protect pop-up when trying to install it then you need to press “More Details” and then tap the “Install anyway” button. If you press the “Got it” button it won’t install.

• Ensure that you have at least 1.5 gigabytes or more free on your device.

• Uninstall the patched app that’s already installed on your device before trying again. Make sure it’s not installed as an alternate user profile or private folder.

#“App not installed as package appears to be invalid.”

• Make sure you aren’t trying to install an older version that is already installed on your device. Android doesn’t officially allow you to downgrade.

You can use both again. The difference between Revancify and RVX Builder is that you can patch all different Revanced Variants with Revancify it also works via Termux and is CLI based. You run RVX Builder via Termux but you patch everything in your browser it also doesn’t work with every Revanced Variant.

You need to use version 18.23.35 or newer basically the newest supported version when you get to the patch selection just tap the default option and patch it then everything should work fine.

Idk if it actually supports it could be but I can say it’s probably easier to use something we’re you can easily just configure the different names without needing to create some files in a specific folder. Also since Revancify X has been discontinued use Revancify for that now.

Yup this is how to fix that issue because when tapping the default button it includes the “Spoof Player Parameter” patch which fixes the issue but this also has a small side effect seekbar thumbnails won’t work when including the patch.
