I love that this is in Minecraft. Should be in base game.
Friendly reminder that the Babylon Bee is the shitty rightwing attempt at the Onion.
Attempting to launder shitty conservative beliefs through humor.
I’m pretty firmly against crossovers unless they are particularly compatible with each other. Unless it gels just right it feels pandering and lame. Smash Bros for example worked hard to make the disparate cast fit in with each other with subtle design changes. Ready Player One on the other hand…
X-Men and other super hero-esque media works. DC and Mortal Kombat works when you throw in magic to offset the power inbalance. (Although, I never questioned Marvel Vs Capcom’s power scaling. Hsien-Ko and Phoenix Wright casually kicking Thanos’ wrinkled purple ass never made me think twice.)
I’ld like Capcom to collapse more of their fighting and beat-em-up properties into Street Fighter. Hsien-Ko makes about as much sense in Street Fighter as half of the villains.
I’ve felt that my entire life, it feels like.
I just try to savor the moments of bliss, peace, or fun I come across and use them to help me through the drudgery. Eventually if you do things right you worm out a little comfortable niche.
I like doing old prospector-y cursing for minor inconveniences. I work at a hospital, so I probably shouldn’t curse openly infront of the unwashed terbuculars.

My final form is Grandpa Lou Rugrats.
That was how I made peace with Biden in the first place.
“You aren’t voting for the man, you’re voting for the cabinet and judges he appoints”.
Atleast Biden’s cabinet was more-or-less competent. I didn’t always agree with them, but atleast there was a logic outside of “this will only benefit the obscenely rich/Russia”
I use the phrase codified. For example Ocarina of Time and Mario 64 didn’t invent fighting or exploring in 3D, but both established a baseline of what it should feel like.
Pokemon took what SMT/Dragon Quest/Mother was putting down, simplified and refined the vibe and made it more accessible.
Both games have full implented battle systems.
Cobblemon allows you to move while battling, and has faint animations.
Pixelmon is more feature complete, but it’s glitchier.
Definitely play it on a server. The procedural generated gyms are cool, but nothing beats humans.
Someone’s gotta show Lost Odyssey some love.
It’s such a shame. Pokemon has so much potential, but Gamefreak/TPC are… a bit shitty.
They could take a leaf from Morrowind. Open world, but use terrain and fog to hide the limitation and funnel the players along the points of interest.
Then late game let them go nuts, flying everywhere seeing the less than pretty areas.
Like Breath of the Wild had some empty ugly areas, but the worse areas were off the beaten path.
Also the bland areas were also usually hiding a shrine or something.
Uhh huh huh… you said depth.
I think that’s the point of a rape whistle, people might ignore a call for help, but will instinctively look towards a shrill piercing whistle.
They might not help, but extra visibility might deter the attacker.
I’ll also toss A Way with Words on the pile too. It’s a long running NPR-adjacent radio show/podcast about linquistics.
My favorite was a dive they did on the descriptor “like a dead preacher” to refer to an annoying awkward thing to move.
Yes, each generation has words or a style of typing that they grew up or had to adapt to.
IIRC Boomers and Gen Z use more emoji than Gen X and Y.
Millenials grew up with keyboards, so they tend to type full sentences, punctuation, shit like that. With Gen X being a toss-up.
Boomers tend to use formal language, but they suck at distilling their thoughts into something another human person can understand. (Boomer ramblings on Facebook)
Wish I could find the article that broke it down, but search engine sludge makes any question about generations into links to quizzes.
That story mode was unhinged difficult. Don’t think I got much further than that.
It was such a cool level. I remember that was the only story level I beat in first couple tries~
It’s so satisfying when you get good at knocking out other racers. I remember as a teenager I would set my top speed to high and whittle down half of the other racers on my way to the front of the pack.
It’s easy to get in the top ten when you drop the racers count down fifteen places.
God City Trial was so much fun. Kinda wish Smash kept that mode that Smash DS had that was very similar to City Trial.
The top down racing mini-game was also slept on.
Super is so good. The sound design makes everything gel together into a smooth slurry.
But, like good.
Metroid Prime is a masterpiece. The artifact hunt is a bit padding-y, but you’ll be backtracking to get the power-ups anyway.
It’s an I Heart Radio podcast right? I♡R suuuuuvks.
I love Cool Zone Media’s output, but their parent company is exhausting.
