Yes, each impeachable instance or crime is grounds for a new impeachment.
The US likely has the votes for a 3rd impeachment, with some Republicans coming across the isle (again). However, it will not result in Trump being removed.
The US system is so fucking weird, it was never meant to work with political parties. It’s like a penalty being called on the winning team in sports and the referee stops to ask the offending team if they should get a penalty or not.
Cops and city government are more interested in giving people tickets than they are of solving crime. Implement a new theft enforcement team that takes complaints online with porch video attachments and goes after porch pirates? No … they dont have the resources.
Put in more traffic cameras to catch speeders and red light runners? Oh yeah, get those criminals.
“I’m afraid it was the MORmons. Yes, the MORmons were the correct answer.” –The Director of Hell (Southpark)

I almost always say this. I usually turn down the job and state that the pay being offered is a little too low … they sometimes raise it.

The corporations could not get their heads wrapped around the internet at first. They needed to deal with nerds and computer geeks to get anything done. These same people that they had kicked around and laughed at for being useless now had to be brought into boardrooms for product discussions. Then the dot com crashes happened and corporations learned that all of those people were not Steve Jobs and Bill Gates. All of these gave the internet an extended era that felt a bit like the “Wild West”. AOL internet was a commercial product that got mauled constantly because it hired average skilled programmers, the really ingenious programmers were the ones developing Instant Message based “punters” and program crashing email “bombs”.
Vil’s version already looked like it was a Muppet movie.
Scene: “The multicolored ship lands on its squishy feet, the mouthpiece front opens and a giant tonge-like gangplank slide extends out. The emperor’s gurads slide down the tongue, followed by the Emperor himself.”
Vil’s directors notes: “This thing is in space, they no use stairs now”

Jo gets deepdived by a dozen people. No … not the title of the next furry porn, just what is happening now on Lemmy.

Oh yeah. The US leadership is filled with Russian assets and Putin playthings.
A village would be an “unincorporated town” in the US, administered under the county. There are a few actual incorporated villages, but they are small towns that just chose to call themselves that.
The main difference is that an incorporated city/town/etc has its own municiple government … a “village” would still be run by the county.

What is the horse going to do with prep time? What am I missing? This seems crucial.

Yep. But he shouldn’t go to prison over being a twat.

I am defending no one and taking no side. I’m just pointing out that there are laws against denying the holocaust all across Europe.
These laws are harsh and will actually hit researchers that even try and dispute the number of victims … unless they are making the number larger. It is a fish tale. No doubt a fish was caught, but there is no way possible it was 11 million feet long.

My facts are straight. Questioning it is the same as denying it in most, if not all, of those 17 European countries where there are holocaust denial laws.
Professors and researchers get threatened when they suggest that it was actually Russians that did a lot of the killing. They get arrested when the point to the Pogroms that saw every religion being attacked.
It is what it is. 17 countries in Europe have “holocaust denial” laws … and that is suspect to a lot of people.
If it suddenly became illegal to openly state that aliens may exist … many would see this as a cover up and confirmation.

It’s not just Germany, it is17 countries. That’s most of Europe.
The laws don’t always say “it is illegal to deny the holocaust” … but you have to look at the way libel laws are used. Britain actually convicts on counts of libel for holocaust denial (see historian David Irving). They have laws on incitement to hatred and offensive communication that are used should one post a story that mentions holocaust denial (see Allison Chabloz).
My point still stands. Seeing all those countries with laws like this could make a reasonable person suspicious.

No, its not flawed. I know many people here in the US that are holocaust deniers based solely on the fact that it is illegal in most of Europe.
You honestly cannot do research to prove portions of the holocaust records could be wrong without risking imprisonment.

It’s almost time for Spider Man in real life! Can you see it on the horizon? It will be outlined by the eerie red glow of spiderwebs.
That’s not how that works.
