If your machine has a TPM chip, you can bypass the other requirements to upgrade to 11 with a simple registry edit. Not sure if that’s an option for you, but it saved parents’ older Surface device from the landfill.

Yeah, I fear you’re right. Such a shame of the amazing world and lore they built.
With the way Ubisoft is going, that one’s the least likely to see the light of day. Sadly :-(
I refuse to believe that tweet is real on principal, but it’s just tone deaf enough to have me question whether this might have actually been shat out by a corporate marketing team as part of some greenwashing effort.
If this is someone memeing however: Kudos, this one is very convincing despite being wildly ridiculous.
“Would you like your evil done in the traditional overt bombs-dropped-on-children fashion, or the new we’ll-sell-your-entire-life-to-the-highest-bidder-while-feeding-you-non-stop-lies-to-establish-a-fascist-regime style, sir?”
This guy: Bomb some kids, at least it’s a spectacle.
(Edit for clarification: I think both are bad, and one has a strong causal relationship with the other but I am not sure I would pick Raytheon personally. It’s a bit too overtly evil for my tastes)
They also laid off folks with H1Bs. No, I suspect the real story here is that someone somewhere got convinced these jobs could be done even cheaper by AI, so they’re cutting folks to fund the datacenters basically.
Yeah, everyone always brings up the Wii U but the whole “New” 3DS situation was even less clear if you ask me
Thanks! I’ll give it a go once the backlog gets cleared out a bit.
This is so high on my “should play list” and yes I haven’t gotten around to it. Is it truly as good as folks say? What are your experiences with it having played the original?
Ticket to Ride
It’s funny how Edge got lambasted for it when they introduced that feature, but it’s legitimately super helpful and non-invasive.
Such a shame Jon went off the deep end and killed the band in the process. Iced Earth used to be one of my favorite bands, but I haven’t listened to them any more since the insurrection.
That said, in hindsight, the signs were there for a long time. It’s just that I didn’t expect him to go so far down the rabbit hole.
Yeah, I suppose Rammstein were actually a bit optimistic with that line.
That’s really hard to source honestly due to the nature of proxy wars. The list I provided does include large conflicts in which the US was a beligerent in some way, shape, or form, so not just wars. For example, it includes domestic conflicts the US never flagged as wars such as the various campaigns against the American natives, the invasion of Mexico and a whole bunch of others lesser known ones.
pushes glasses well akshually…The US was not involved in an armed conflict from 1795 to 1798, 1805-1810, 1815-1816, 1828-1832, 1924-1939, 1961-1964 and finally 1975 to 1982. Out of the US’ 248 years of existance, it has enjoyed 38 years of official peace.
Isn’t the original line “sometimes war”? Or am I misremembering the lyrics.
UAE is cheating since they outsourced it to the Netherlands to do their sea reclaiming for them.
Morrowind memes in the wild. What a time to be alive!
Yeah yeah, I blame autocorrect.
