What the fuck is “the anti evil operations team”? That sounds like corpospeak for a team that does deeply evil shit

This isn’t a “source”. This is a corporate spokesperson

A Reddit spokesperson, who requested that The Verge not use their name due to the sensitive subject matter
What the fuck is this? We’re granting corporate spokespeople anonymity now?

I would call it poor UX rather than funny. The button sure makes it sound like it’s going to yeet off the log as soon as you press it

Is this android? On both iOS and desktop I’m given an option to review the log before submitting, and I thought that was the case on android last time I used it. Maybe if you hit submit it will show it to you? There wasn’t any kind of automated submission last I checked, just an option to upload to a paste service and then instructions to ask on the forum or email the devs with the link.

Nothing that I’m aware of that’s standalone, but from a brief review of the functionality it seems like something that would be better as a browser extension. Which would be cool and I would probably install.
Are you seriously suggesting there is no way to grant whistleblowers anonymity without granting it to corporate spokespeople providing statements on behalf of the company? You’re a fucking idiot
