Some of us live in spread out communities or rural areas. You don’t expect all humans to live in a 2x2 ft cube in a 30 story tall building do you? Also, I guarantee not everyone else wants to live right next to other humans. I try to get as far as possible so I can do anything I want (be loud, be outside at any time, have parties etc). There is actually enough livable land on the planet for every single human to have 2 acres worth. Now, should people have children when there is already billions of us, that’s another question.
Absolute dream. Please build it!!
A 1st ot 2nd gen tacoma would be awesome for this but WATCH FOR FRAME RUST. some of them have major issues here.
I like it! Good points. I don’t use Amazon by the way, and try to get others to do the same but it’s a hard battle. I’m sure I waste in other ways but I try. People need to have a little more curiosity and creativity in reusing or making stuff themselves, not buying shit they don’t need. The real issue is billionaires with a carbon footprint 10000 times bigger than any of us could imagine. And I don’t think any of us can stop that, unless we boycott literally every company.
Why did global temperatures drop during the industrial revolution then, if it contributes so much to man made climate change ? Not doubting micro plastics. I’m only talking about climate. The climate naturally changes over time. Native Americans burned entire forests for hunting land, for example, not to mention volcanoes.
German cars can either go 300k miles and be great, or 25k miles and take a crap because their plastic water pump failed (bmw). I’d say they’re very reliable when all preventative maintenance is done. But then so is any car, and most people don’t do preventative maintenance because we are humans.
Keep an eye out for shady things sellers do too, like starting the car before you get there (why wouldn’t they show you a cold start?). Listen very hard for any sounds and ask the owner if they have had it looked at or even noticed it. Ears are a big advantage in car buying. Make sure you don’t notice any shakes or rumbles while driving or turning sharp (bearings=expensive fixes). I won’t recommend brands as other already have, and I’m too into weird cars to offer a normal opinion.
I HATE the UI. It was made for iPad babies.
Bring the internet back to 03 please. I beg of you
Everyone I know is like this. They love the corpos because their stuff is shiny and easy, and shoved in their face so they don’t have to learn anything. They have no clue how to use anything that isn’t Apple music, discord. Instagram, Snapchat etc. All garbage.
Can you provide proof humans are actually damaging the earth? Just curious, because there is a lot of science out there saying it is not.
I agree with you though.
I just wasn’t sure fedora based (bazzite) would be as easy to troubleshoot as mint (Debian based) since arguably debian/Ubuntu are the most popular distro.
Doesn’t gnome have that sticky app?
I’m still gonna have to dual boot for the foreseeable future, but I force myself to usually boot mint unless I want to play any vr/multiplayer/racing games (which is often, unfortunately). But I do really enjoy how much you can do in linux and learning it.
Yep seems common among that age
Bazzite refused to boot for me…I stuck with mint as it’s always ran pretty good. Old amd fx 8 core and a Radeon rx580
I’ve been hard at trying to get games i like to work in mint. It takes a lit of time but it’s going ok. Like you said though kind of sucks for multi-player. I can’t even get diabolical multi-player to work (after I looked up how to fix the instant crashing audio driver issue) . It’s also a lot of qork getting any racing game to work with my DFGT…even though linux does see the axis and buttons, the force feedback is all messed up. Wish I knew how to code so I could fix these issues! But I don’t have 12 hours a day to ever learn that
Yet my libertarian centrist friend INSISTS that AI is great for humanity. I keep telling him the billionaires don’t give a fuck about you and he keeps licking boots. How many others are like this??
Agreed. It’s a car. I have an entertainment system at home and great speakers for listening. Cars suck for actual listening quality anyways.
