They don’t give a shit about your stolen items, and 9/10 times it’s a complete waste to even contact them over “petty theft”, regardless of how valuable the item/s are to you.
When I was in college, my apartment got broken into. The cop that came when I called was less than helpful. Some highlights:
Y’all remember that post about the “science-based dragon MMO” that topped the gaming page of…that other site…? If not, I’ll include the title and image below, because it’s got the same energy as this post.
Dear internet, I’m a 26 year old lady who’s been developing a science-based, 100% dragon MMO for the last two years. I’m finally making my beta-website now, and using my 3D work as a base to create my 50+ concept images. Wish me luck, Reddit; You’ll be the first to see the site when it’s finished.
The comments were surprisingly constructive considering she basically pasted zsphere sketches over a generic background and announced she had been solo developing the most ambitious dragon fucking game the world has ever seen. It’s been 12 years, I wonder how she’s doing?

Jesus be like, “goddammit, they got us on a technicality.”
If GTA 6 is set as far in the past as GTA: Vice City was, it would be set in 2009.
I hope you don’t unsubscribe, but I understand if this isn’t the content you come here for. One of the big reasons I post food pictures is because I think if they get a lot of traction, they might hit the “front page” and show non vegans that you can make any food vegan, so the only thing stopping you from harming animals might just be your own lack of creativity! Silly as it might sound, it feels like an outlet for activism and outreach. Let me know what you think!
They’ve been through enough already. Now I feel bad.
Is there a better community for vegan food pictures?
That’s a good idea. I did something similar in a poke bowl and it was great.
The vegan spam was just ok, but the sushi rice was amazing!
Fair question. I bought specifically because I’ve always wanted to try spam musubi, but I’ve never seen a vegan spam alternative. It’s mostly soy, starch and wheat, but if you want a full breakdown, here’s the manufacturer’s site.
Honest review, next time I’ll just make my own seitan. It wasn’t the worst, but the texture was weird and the cat food smell kinda put me off to begin with.
How does it compare to real Spam? Couldn’t really say since it’s been probably almost 20 years since I’ve had it. Probably about the same if memory serves.
Thanks! It came out really tasty. I made Mexican birria and braised it in the sauce. If you’re ever looking for a delicious, easy and cheap protein source, you should definitely give seitan a try!
Stretch and knot the dough like they do in the washed flour viral seitan recipe. I used VWG because I’m lazy. The result was very “meat-like”.
https://theveganatlas.com/homemade-seitan-recipe/ The trick is to stretch the dough as long as you can and knot it several times before boiling for that texture.
Yes, I’ve made it several times, and normally I use a filler like blended chickpeas, tofu, beans, etc., so it usually doesn’t have this texture. The difference here is that I used this recipe: https://theveganatlas.com/homemade-seitan-recipe/ and I carefully stretched the finished dough as far as I could, rested it for 15 min and stretched it again. Then I tied it up in tight knots before I boiled it, resulting in the meaty texture with the strands that eerily resemble muscle fiber.
Tariffs allow Trump to pay for his tax cuts to the ultra wealthy by stealing from the working class, without them knowing. He also gets to position himself as a strongman and negotiator. There you go.
