That may be true, but while parts and pieces of downed aircraft may land over a mile or two from an incident based on altitude (they are no longer flying, they are falling), most airspace incursions are not happening just over the border but further inside the defending territory. It takes time for responding fighter jets to scramble and confront the invasive aircraft. This is occurring while traveling at high speed. So the likely answer is that they are not a mile inside of the airspace, but tens of miles at least. It should be no trouble to discern over where the incursion took place.

I suspect that you are correct about reimbursement.

However, when a person visits an optician or an optometrist, at the end of the visit they receive a set of specifications for correcting their eyesight back to as close to “normal” vision as possible. The catch for those specs being called a prescription is that a person cannot walk in and purchase any corrective lenses that they choose. Instead, they are limited to options that fit their specific corrections only.

Totally agree. But how much those drawbacks affect you also depends a lot on where you are located geographically.

I had a friend who I had known since high school. He was a weird one, but always so friendly. Definitely got the short end of the popularity stick. But a really great guy. He was totally obsessed with Ozzy since the day I met him. He had Ozzy self-tattooed on his knuckles, and that was in high school. He died about a year ago of a freak accident. As much as I wish he was still here, I’m really glad he didn’t have to be around for this. It would have destroyed him.

I think that there might be an argument that driving stress would correlate with the necessity of driving. That is, places where it is more stressful to drive have a higher frequency of available public transportation, like in a city, while places that are more relaxing to drive in tend to require having a vehicle for transportation, like rural areas.

Also, there is definitely an element of PTSD that can come with being in a car accident. It can make you jumpy when riding in cars with others or driving. I have heard that many race car drivers end up quitting the sport after a bad accident. No idea how true that is but if you start driving again the jumpiness will eventually turn into a higher level of alertness which can be a good thing when operating a motor vehicle.

This demonstrates a lack of equilibrium between price and demand. In a non-elastic scenario, the rise in price would directly correlate to a decrease in demand.
