Weird thing is that although the app no longer crashes, the usernames don’t appear.

Upon futher testing disabling Hide username in account shortcut fixes the issue without having to recreate my profile.

Settings shortcut: Security > Hide username in account picker

When it happens, I use my browser and the link handler to fix the issue. (It happened again)

My subscribed feed on discuss.tchncs.de crashes the app. Except making this comment fixed the issue?

I was able to sign up for it in Google Play, then I was able to update to the Beta after being accepted by going to the app page in Google Play.

TL;DR: Apple and Amazon have an agreement that Apple can buy all the sponsored product slots when someone searches for an iPhone, iPad, etc.

Samsung and other companies are unhappy that Apple products show up when their products are searched on Amazon, but not the other way around.
