It’s OK to distrust more than one Government, but how anyone can believe the Chineses Government in this matter is beyond me.

Did you not see the insanely violent crack down on Hong Kong Democracy Movement with you own eyes? Do you not remember Tianamen Square? Great Fire-Wall?

Theres liyteraly over 10GB or evidence of the persecution of Uyghurs by the Chinese Government:

I can understand not wanting to believe/trust the US and EU Govs, but trusting the Chinese Government is (IMO) insane.

  • Karmelita and the Coral Tower I’ve each tried many times, before getting the last needle upgrade. Finding all Fleas wasn’t easy and neither were their carnival games, but manageable.

I’ll have to retry Karmelita and the Tower, but Trovio 2.0 and Void Garmond are destroying me even with my new Needle. I might have to use a guide to find some more mask shards as well.

The Clover Dancers were super easy I found, but its still one of my favorite Boss Fights. Seth took me a good dozen tries or so and was als a great fight, RIP. I love that you find him wandering Pharlomm afterwards and I have accepted that I will never beat him in any Flea Games.

  • Yep, that’s what I thought about too. I actually really enjoyed the difficulty of it in Acts 1 and 2, don’t get me wrong some of the bosses took me dozens of tries, but the sense of accomplishment for finally beating one you’ve been struggling with is better than any game that I recall playing (example, I never got very far in Elden Ring, since I would loose enjoyment trying the same boss over and over again, but in Hollow Knight and Silksong the Bosses are so good and fun)

That being said, Act 3 is completely destroying me and I’m starting to think that maybe, just maybe the game is a little too diffcult

  • I’m not sure if they’re concerned with Saturo Shibata directly, it’s just that under Reggie, Nintendo of America pushed hard for stuff like free Wii Sports and cheaper prices (which worked great, making the Wii a huge success), while the Nintendo Japan was of the opinion that nothing should ever be given away for free.

Under Bowser, Nintendo of America fell in line behind Japan. Culminating in stuff like the welcome tour for the Nintendo Switch 2, something that is just a tech demo of the device you just spent $400+ on, costing $10.

Having Saturo Shibata as CEO, it seems this will get worse, not better, since Nintendo Japan is excerting more control over NoA.

  • From Wiki:

Brave Software was founded in 2015 by Brendan Eich, creator of JavaScript and former Mozilla CEO who left the organization after coming under fire for his support of eliminating the right of same-sex couples to marry […]

    and

In August 2016, the company had received at least US$7 million in angel investments from venture capital firms, including Peter Thiel’s Founders Fund […]

Should tell you everything you need to know.

I’d say being ‘privacy focused’ is just a stick to get non-tech savy/gullible people that want to protect their privacy to use it, without thinking about it twice. Personally, I believe there is 0% chance they don’t sell (or simply give) all data they can to Peter Thiel and Palantir.

  • Sure, but the waste of AI is so much worse while providing close to no benefits at all (or probably even damage society as a whole).

Just to put this in perspective: OpenAI alone had a $40 Billion funding round in March this year. That is enough to build that huge particle accelerator and run it for 20 years. OpenAI burned that money in 6 months (they needed another $40 Billion in funding in August) and all they have to show for it is GPT 5 which is just more of the same.

Sure other Science Projects could probably do a lot more with the 40 Billion, but the complete waste of resources in the persuit of AI isn’t comparable to ground breaking Physics experiments which actually helps further our understanding of the universe and the very fabric of reality.
