  • a Nazi collaborator from 1940s a hero is obviously a bad look, but that does not equal modern day Ukraine being Nazis.

Why does this read like you’re trying to soften him? Just say “a Nazi”. Does it feel better to mention he was a Nazi in the 40s, or the “collaboration” part removes him from Nazism? Idk you tell me I guess.

Also throwing a parade for him in 2026 is what would implicate them being Nazi in modern day. Just FYI

Liberals love this little factoid because it makes China seem “authoritarian” and therefore “bad” when in reality you can just use a VPN and do whatever you want. it’s (one of the ways) kinda how I get free stuff in the USA and I hate computers you just gotta do a tiny tiny bit of research but I’ve seen in China it’s like an open secret you could prob just get some stranger to tell you how

  • There’s a certain level of laziness that I am willing to sacrifice for comfort/efficency, and then there’s the level of work that I enjoy putting in to my daily routine. Now I’m just worried for you as a fellow winter enjoyer… put on a coat and some gloves dude! You can get frostbite! It is 100% worth it, you already have to put on atleast underwear (you owe that to your neighbors if they can see you like mine could) and shoes! Please don’t tell me you skip putting on shoes too…

As far as the data thing goes I would be willfully ignorant if the cars actually reflected what I wanted to do with them, if that makes sense. I don’t need it to connect to an app on my phone because that personally annoys me, that’s kinda it. Same with driver facing cameras, fancy screens that are distracting, etc, it’s mostly that they personally annoy me and I don’t personally like the features and I wish there were options to have a simple car with a simple, physical interface.

  • Try running out the moment you wake up in nothing but a t-shirt and maybe pants when it’s -30 or colder to get the car.

lol. I own winter coats for a reason… You throw that on instead of a t shirt in -30 mornings. We get those here too. Just going out in a t shirt is your own fault. I would also never work somewhere I couldn’t run outside quick to roll up my windows. I always work labor so I’ve never ever been told I’d have to just sit inside if I knew my car was being rained on. These problems aren’t real problems being solved they’re laziness. Telling me you don’t take the time to put a coat on in the winter is fucking insane no wonder you need your car to connect to WiFi and track you!

I don’t care about my phone tracking me tbh.

I care about it being easy and efficient to use, that’s my whole point about cars.

Eh, no worries friend, it comes off as more soft on you than me. I kinda thought that was your intention.

I’m not trying to be a hard ass, but we are talking geopolitics here. This isn’t some Facebook “real eyes realize real lies” thing, this is real life and provable information… That little poem made me chuckle out loud, I’m gonna start hitting more people with real eyes realize real lies in person when I disagree 😂

Not “denying”, Disproving. There is an easy way to prove these sorts of very heavy claims and that involves following those sources they put all the way at the bottom of the little Wikipedia page you’re talking about. When you concede from “genocide” into more general “human rights abuses” and then claim even Wikipedia denounces it so therefore it must be horrible is pretty sloppy research at best…

You can go to your public library and find books on what Gulags were like, American Prisons, Chinese Prisons, American Japanese internment camps, Nazi concentration camps, and that just scratches the surface of what one person can find alone. Now pair that with decades of fascist influence from huge world organizations like the UN and NATO, ICJ, USAID, etc. and we’re getting colder and colder on the Uyghur human rights violations… it’s almost like they can speak their native language and have pretty clear autonomy in the region they reside, to the point where you could go there yourself as long as you can get the proper papers to get to China itself. Try doing that in the West Bank or Gaza.

I wouldn’t have thought that Wikipedia is influenced to this degree by the US-american government.

Well, you would be shocked at just how much goes into forming the average Americans opinion

  • Remote start (ICE) or remote starting heater (EV, ICE with Webasto) is a nice feature. Ability to check the status of your doors (are they locked), windows (maybe you left them open because it was hot and then the rain sensor didn’t close them), etc.

I can do all of this myself with my eyes and my hands, I live in a place where I don’t lock my car really ever unless I go to the big cities. Like I detest the idea of having an app for my car to tell me the automatic window thing you’re talking about didn’t do it. I am perfectly capable of doing that myself with my own 2 hands, I’ve forgotten before in the rain and it hasn’t ever been so big of a deal that I’d opt for a feature to do that for me, it’s the definition of unnecessary. Remote start seems nice especially in the brutal winters but I’ve never had it before and I’ve never had any problems waking up before sunrise in below 0 weather to start my car other than battery issues. I also don’t see why remote start and heated seats would require internet or an app whatsoever.

It would be much nicer if you could route all of that to your HA server instead of the manufacturer’s server though.

I literally have no idea what this means and zero interest in learning anything more about software or hardware, I do admit that’s probably kindof ignorant of me but I also do not like “computer stuff” like that, I have an iPhone because I want it to 100% simple as possible like I’m a boomer.

I just want a god damn car I can start with my hands and drive where I need to go safely and efficiently. That’s it. I don’t understand why people enjoy having so many more unnecessary bells and whistles.

  • I don’t see why a vehicle needs to connect to the internet at all. Or have a screen whatsoever. I don’t understand why a car can’t just be a thing with a gear shift and a fucking steering wheel that drives from point A to point B

We’re being sold this idea of a car being like, a mobile family home or comfort space away from home. But the thing is, cars before 2015-ish were actually kinda comfy. Now they look and feel like robots. Kinda sickening. They all look so fucking ugly too every car is the same ugly round van/SUV shape now.

Well, you are the one attempting to discuss, if you want to prove your own claims (which are VERY serious claims) it is up to YOU to do so, not to yell at strangers and say it’s “genocide” before backpedaling when your own sources work against you. This isn’t denial, it’s trying to prove to many that you’re being lied to by the US, a country that has killed millions and millions of Muslims forgive me when an American talks about fixing China treating their Muslim population poorly. How many people in US speak their native language, how many US natives are there? I mean the TRIBES, not your European ancestors

“When one desaturates, it’s hard to see color.” -🤓

Sorry. 😂 You don’t even know what this meme is trying to convey? Maybe keep the poetry and political analysis in your notebook

I also noticed you responded to me and not the other people who actually proved you wrong, you just wanted to try out your little poem on me didn’t you 🥲

  • In my country there are “socialists” who have served in genocidal campaigns, bragged about it, joined an American paramilitary corporation/was “security at a US embassy”, all while having a Nazi totenkopf tattoo that he IMMEDIATELY removed once the public learned of its existence.

I’m starting to think “democratic socialists of America”, though I like some of their candidates, are closer to “American National Socialists” with a leftist filter put over their revisionist (at best) campaigns.

    Welcome to America

  • why it should matter that one guy is a Nazi if being a nazi is the standard?

lol you really spent days thinking of this just to come to this question??? Really?

Dude. Being an antifascist doesn’t mean you excuse fascist rhetoric because you think the side using it is good… it’s condemned when it’s used. That’s it.

I have no reason or interest to continue answering your weird ass questions or responses , I also typed everything you’d need to read in my first reply, anything else you can just read Parenti or Blum or something

  • lol Zelensky could literally do a Hitler salute and call himself a fascist and yall would be like “well EVERYONE REMEMBER Russia is the aggressor!!” “We cannot have a conversation about this conflict without first and very very often mentioning Russia is the evil aggressor against wholesome epic little Ukraine and pointing out their Nazi insignia is “targeted” and “associating them with Nazis”

Motherfucker, THEY are associating THEMSELVES with Nazis. This article is about Z naming a unit after fascists. There are pictures of him in front of literal swastikas (adjacent symbols meaning the same thing). How in the slightest is that framing Ukraine in any way they aren’t framing themselves?

Also I responded before I read your whole comment. The last paragraph is just slop dude. I think this person should be banned from the instance or however it works, unless you’re willing to prove that you’re willing to learn and not just bark like a dog

  • The privilege you(we) experience in the west is a direct result of exploitation of the global south. While you sit there allowed to have free will, post shit in your home with electricity, your government is not only forcing other countries not to export their own goods for the benefit of the people in the country (Cuba, etc) but also make it ILLEGAL for any other country to sell them crucial commodities or buy anything from them. So it’s not about individual experience and more about the entire geopolitical history of the exploitation domestically (slave trade) and abroad and YOU personally benefit from it. All of our lives could be so much better if we operated more like China, Cuba, Vietnam or the USSR, economically, legally, etc.
