I’m extremely thankful for this information.
For those on iOS you don’t need an app to do this.
You can go to settings -> apps -> phone -> silence unknown callers.
This will send them straight to voicemail and the call will show in the recent calls list.
What do you do to break them?
In my forties and never broken a headphone jack, headphones, cable, or in fact anything like that. I tend to take care of my stuff and not treat it in such a way as I’m going to break it.
Rather than betting on conjecture you might do well to search for blog posts of security researchers that test these kinds of claims. Then you could have posted that instead of going on feelings.
Like this.
Lawsuit based on research by mysk not sure in the outcome of this though and whether the the claims that there is a difference between data collection for selling to data brokers vs data collection to improve the user experience. As I developer myself we will collect data to help us understand our software better and with no intention to do anything with it.
Another one appears to be about a flaw in how they anonymise data, specifically local differential privacy.
So it does appear that there are claims about opt-in, but I didn’t see anything concrete in my cursory look and I’m not afraid to post articles attacking my own point.
Freedom of speech I assume.
Thiel is worse than Musk, he just goes under the radar.
For your admiration to continue I guess they’ll have to do a round two on themselves.
But it’s opt-in. So only people who choose to.
A meme is born.
if we can get a higher res version
I do use both. I included that detail in my post.
Thanks. I will monitor if it happens with certain codecs and then blacklist them.
It seems it was direct play when I checked Tautulli
I do have tautulli set up so will check that. I can provide more information if needed.
Transcoding sound like it might be that as I had recently setup Nvidia GPU and enabled hardware transcoding but when I was testing and watching something it didn’t transcode as I was watching in the format I had.
Yes, I use them even if there is nobody around as it’s good to keep the habit. I’ve noticed not many people use them in say a right only lane, but my logic is pedestrians might not know and so you should use it there too.
UK.
Thank you, as I tried to allude to in other comments, I am open to learning and as I’ve aged I have less ego.
I appreciate your feedback on writing and I am going to put this down to a lesson of the perils of overthinking (not just writing words myself).
Oh sorry I misunderstood.
Do they say what he hates about each one?
Thank you.
Yea, the responses have not been what I expected, but I can see why and I’m open to learning to improve my voice as I really want to get involved with current affairs and bringing about change in the west.
I’ve lived in the UK all my life. I’ve been to the USA once and China nonce.
Anyway, it’s clear my post wasn’t put together well as it seems people think I’m saying China good, when I’m really not. I’m trying to say western media bias is a thing and although China has bad things, we do too and I wanted to open a discussion about this.
Also highlights we don’t live in a meritocracy if this clown is in charge of others.
