“That’s not what I meant whan I said to hold my beer.”
Sorry, what is your argument here? That if I’m not willing to fight for the profits of companies that I also wouldn’t be willing to fight an actual threat to millions of people? Is that it? You feel like as long as I’m not being deployed to topple a democracy in South America, Africa, or the Middle East that you’ve somehow won here? I clearly overestimated your intelligence, I think I’ll leave the conversation here.
Why would I join up to fight for oil? I just explained that the source of my frustration is the fight that I want to fight is not a priority of my nation.
I suppose he could threaten foreign nations who breach the borders, but it’s not accurate to say they aren’t currently threatened behind their own borders. Russia recently lost a major railway connecting to china to the war, and a few months ago there was a military coup that had Putin hiding in a bunker.
Idk if birth dates are protected classes or statuses in most places.
Of course everything is censored, there is no reason to share personal info like that.
I don’t know what Geographical Information Systems have to do with this post, are you referring to a reverse image search like google or tineye or something? What were you expecting to find? The original email with all of the aforementioned personal info? Are you surprised content could be posted to Reddit before anywhere else?
Current fears are justified.
Poe’s Law tells me not to assume anything is satirical because there will always be people that stupid or greedy.
And yeah, it could be fake, 100%, but your arguments were really dumb.
He wasn’t deep but he was Metal AF.
I think it’s slightly less of a problem with the platform and more of an issue with how the content that is the replies get served. First come, first serve. Even on Lemmy the first few responses will be much higher voted than the rest, because they get sorted to the top.
Exactly for real, mate, I’d be digging those trenches. Didn’t expect that, did you? Thought you had the ultimate “Gotcha!” but no. I’m probably one of the few people in this comment section even fit to serve. Parrot more talking points, why not?
So does Ukraine, so why hasn’t Russia tried anything with them? Oh because there is no winning a Nuclear War, idiot.
Goddamn right I would. Finally a cause worth fighting for, many Americans would view it as a dream come true.
No, they’re asking what units Russia will concentrate near Finland. In reference to Russia having lost more than half it’s deployed military.
I hope some other Russian usurps his dementia ridden ass, 24 years is enough.
I’ve wanted to fight Russia since they annexed Crimea. I knew it wouldn’t end there, and I was proven right. If they manage to obtain the natural resources of Ukraine then it will just keep escalating. The thing is, though, Russia has lost so many troops that they could easily be swept, right now. Now has never been a better time for either the EU or NATO to force Russia into demilitarization and reparations, as well as putting more economic pressure on the Chinese Dictatorship.
One thing I don’t want, though, is a direct conflict with China. Those fuckers need to try fixing their own shit, first. Idk if that makes me strong against the weak and weak against the strong, but there is simply too much to lose for all sides in that sort of conflict, unlike the very weakened and destabilized Russia.
Wow you really went off on an irrelevant tirade, there. There is a defined accuracy when you set up the learning algorithm, there is an end goal result that you define with which the program chooses and eliminates “choices” for a given generation. You program it, it doesn’t magically conjure from a witches cauldron or a wish from a genie.
And also, we’re not talking about actual intelligence and sentience here, we’re talking about AI as in modern Learning Algorithms, as I explicitly stated at the start of this thread before you used the term AI for the first time in this thread. Idk why you’re comparing it to human level intelligence when it’s barely passable as a poor and easily abused mimicry.
With your repetitive, nonsensical, baseless logic I think you would pass for one of those glorified chatbots.
If you program your learning algorithm to “solve” customer problems in the shortest amount of time possible with the least amount of concessions possible, it will act exactly as I just described. The company would have to be run by buffoons to give the phone machines the ability to change user account information or have the ability to issue refunds, so the end result is that they can only answer simple questions until the person on the other end gives up.
I think AI generally tries to bullshit more often than participating in what the user wants to accomplish. It would be like speaking with customer support who don’t actually work for the company, is a pathological liar, and have a vested interest in making you give up as fast as possible.
Let me say first that the US Housing and Banking market cannot be summarized in a few paragraphs, but:
Actually prices have gone down across the rural USA, but monthly payments are the same or higher than before Covid, ever since the Rate Hikes started. If family homes aren’t being treated as monetary assets to store wealth overseas, then maybe somebody might actually live in them and slowly build equity, and in that vein the supply for homes increases along with a decrease in demand, so if you’re concerned about the price of homes then you should still celebrate this lower number of foreign buyers. In fact, I guarantee you that the high rates of homes affects civilians a lot more than Investors and Banks, the latter can afford to purchase outright, so that’s definitely not a cause for this situation.
Milliliters. I understand you probably did that reflexively given the print size and location are exactly the same as where a US can would list ounces.
