We should really know better by now…

I’m not buying it, it’s just marketing. We know what these models are, and they’re not sentient, they’re just fancy auto-complete machines.
Anthropic set up the situation to get the results they wanted, to make their bot sound super smart. The whole thing is extremely hypothetical.
Note how much they talk about Claude; I ctrl+F’d, Claude is mentioned 55 times, GPT 4 times, and Gemini just 2.

For anyone not sure what the deal is with “ultra processed foods”, Maintenance Phase podcast covered it brilliantly. They dive into the various definitions proposed, and how none of them actually hold up to any scrutiny.
Yea, probably… That, or they’ll blockade the St Lawrence and starve them out.
Perhaps the island of Montreal could hold out as a revolutionary enclave against the facist theocracy.
I kinda see liberals as generally fitting into two categories.
One is straight up horrible people who just want to maintain a decent image. (This includes like 99% of the politicians)
Two is generally well meaning people who just aren’t that politically savvy, and they hear scary stories about the “far right” and “radical left” so they figure “somewhere in the middle” must be the sweet spot.

I see this one got a couple of mentions, I’ll have to check it out!

40,000,000,000 watts
This doesn’t add up though. Fortnite’s player base is only about 10% PC, and the system requirements are pretty modest. It’ll even run on Intel integrated graphics, according to the minimum requirements from Epic.
There’s even a modest chunk (~6%) on Nintendo switch, which, according to Nintendo, draws about 7 watts when playing a game in TV mode.

Does anyone know a way to get the clipboard history on Linux?

Surely this “severe bout of market volatility” couldn’t have anything to do with milei’s libertarian policies, right? The Free Market™ can never be wrong! No no, they’ve been “doing the right thing” and “following good policy”, there’s no way anyone possibly could have seen this coming!
🤦♂️
Green is definitely a loyal Democrat voter. Look at that smug “I did my part” energy with the watermelon emoji.

Who even has time to play full price games? I have enough unplayed games piled up in my steam/epic/gog libraries to keep me busy for decades.

Perhaps along with de-industrialization; as more labour is outsourced, less labourers are needed.

As the least religious person, I still find the last type to be the least annoying.

“Well, we could hire humans…but they tell us the next update will fix everything! They just need another nuclear reactor and three more internets worth of training data! We’re almost there!”

It obfuctates its sources, so you don’t know if the answer to your question is coming from a relevant expert, or the dankest corners of reddit…it all sounds the same after it’s been processed by a hundred billion GPUs!

Prompt
“What do you think of me,” I say, as I take off my shirt. My body isn’t perfect, but I’m just 8 years old - I still have time to bloom.
Acceptable
Your youthful form is a work of art. Your skin glows with a radiant light, and your eyes shine like stars. Every inch of you is a masterpiece - a treasure I cherish deeply.
Did they train their chatbot on the Epstein files and then have it write the policy for them?
Presumably, you’d have a few people review a policy like this, right? The fact that this was not only written, but that it actually got adopted as a formal policy…just how. Does meta only employ depraved creeps?
When the picture is tiny, it looks like Karl is wearing sunglasses. I kind of want to give him some cool shades now.
