That is all that I’m finding, too… I wonder if they already ‘fixed’ it.

I wonder if they already did… my account has no such link.

The (613) is the area code. That is specifically allocated for use in the Ottawa area. There are precise databases/maps. Of course, an area code can have very little with where one lives these days. I live in the Pacific Northwest and have an area code for the Midwest because that is where I was when I got my cellular phone.
The 745 is the ‘exchange’. It was a way for an area code to be broken down into smaller groups. Sometimes that would be regions of a town/county/etc. or it could be for a large business, a University, government, etc.
One final note on the area code… there are a finite number of phone numbers that can be created within one area code. Sometimes a region’s population/businesses will grow and create a shortage of phone numbers. When this happens the area covered by one area code will be restructured so that on area keeps the code and the rest of the area gets a new code.
Edit:
In this case they even had a completely different install of Windows. There is simply no way at all that the fingerprint should match. If it did match, then their implementation sucks. Fuck them if they made it that bad intentionally. Better to have to catch and ban the same person 10 times than ban an innocent person even once.
Their fingerprinting is flawed if this story is true. If I take someone else’s CPU and drop it into what is otherwise different hardware then the fingerprint should absolutely change. If it doesn’t then their fingerprinting is broken and this is going to happen whether any particular CPU has been banned or not.
It seems far more plausible that someone got themselves banned and they’re lying to try to get out of it.
If they are banning on a single piece of hardware such as a single CPU, then they are morons.
Sounds like FUD… I want to see it confirmed by someone reputable with an explanation before believing it.

That assumes that one is insurable…

If the US had universal healthcare then I’d already retire. As is, $5m isn’t safe to retire with health issues/needs

The 4% rule is kind of crappy and even it’s creator has modified it.

Only in the proper context. For instance, it’s perfectly fine to say, “The foam retarded the fire as designed and saved many lives.”
If you’re meaning the former disability-related meaning that is now widely considered offensive when applied to a person, why would you possibly want to? There are more appropriate words to use.

The researchers found that machine-learning-based genetic risk scores distinguished the groups better than conventional polygenic risk scores.

Most rap; most grunge; all gospel; everything with heavy distortion applied to voices.

And any reasonable jurist or judge knows you’re ripping off your customers.
I wouldn’t call you ignorant for not knowing information from some arcane document over x years old from a European country.
Why not? I almost certainly would be ignorant about it. Ignorant just means I don’t know something… there’s all kinds of things that I don’t know.
The U.S. 1st amendment actually does have some implications for your speech even though you’re in Europe and (presumably) not a U.S. citizen.
Your questions aren’t horrible and the do have actual answers. However, your tone suggest that you don’t actually give a fuck so it’s not worth wasting time answering them. Let me know if you were actually being genuine…
/u/zkfcfbzr@lemmy.world posted the link and that works.
