how do you know the browser extension is safe?

I tried using it but the problem is the video it’s always a generic page. When I use LJ on Android it lets me open the page from a browser and detect the video after I select season and episode on that page

any reason why I should not just use Stacher? I used to use yt-dl as a kid but nowadays I like more chill approaches

it’s actually mostly for tv shows, and maybe in the FUTURE games. The site I use for streaming is slow when I watch them in my native language, that’s why torrent. I’m on a budget tho, I think it’ll either be surfshark or fastestvpn. I realise now fastestvpn kinda sucks, but I think if I don’t care about the speed it’s really affordable (or f-secure if it’s bundled with m365 again and if I still will need onedrive storage, maybe not).
I appreciate you explained how port forwarding works (really ^^), like you I can also deal with not having it especially because for a bit my wallet is tight.

is port forwarding only for speed? I think I’ve got some confusion, can I torrent with proton free for casual usage?
Edit: I read on reddit they block torreting so okay, my question is still valid though. I’ve got a vpn bundled with an antimalware I can probably use but it’s the same story, (I doubt over here they’ll catch me torrenting) but does the vpn need to be specifically designed for torreting?

I’m more worried about the last point than the first. Stuff like Proton VPN wouldn’t respond to a law enforcement subpoena? If you mean buying illegal things such as drugs I don’t care; I’d use it for movies. I worry if this VPN may be good for pirating games even though I don’t have plans to do that right now. I wonder if such a solution is better than an antimalware VPN?
Their life plan seems like a perfect solution, and if they don’t have antivirus VPN bundled with M365 on Amazon Black Friday, or if you believe this isn’t the best solution, that lifetime VPN may be good.

you would or you would NOT use it for piracy?

do you need a powerful PC for that though?

Exactly my thoughts. I already missed a deal on GMG twice because they’re not super clear when they’re discounts ends, and I were too late. I won’t buy a game full price on steam so unofficial key resellers are probably what I’ll use.
Since the money won’t go to the developers for sure, I thought I may as well pirate it, but yeah I’m a bit concerned about safety tbh. It isn’t anime or netflix we’re talking about.

what if the executables are large like all games basically?

virtual machine for games, my pc is medium specs, dunno if I can do that. No problem with common sense, is there an answer to my question please?
ty, I actually started using it and it’s great
