This is terrible in Japan. Everyone’s name here consists of a few kanji, while my entire name (yes I have to write the whole thing) is 21 letters. :|
HEY I’m gilokee, a millennial who’s been on the internet since about 2000. Trying to migrate here from the other place. :)
Originally from Washington State, I now live in rural Japan with my blacksmith husband.

Yes to nostalgic comfort movies! Plus hot salty soup, ginger ale and, why not, saltines. All the nostalgic sick stuff. :P

and then get up 20 minutes later to pee…

that too, why not

Really? Haven’t heard that it works for colds lol. I take it for a little boost during the day…I feel like it would make it harder to relax on it.

It still exists here in Japan for some reason!!

There’s a formula which I believe was created by xkcd: half your age plus 9. By this logic, a 20 year old shouldn’t be dating a 40 year old…but also, who cares? Adults can do what they want.

I despise being over full! Glad I’m not the only one in these comments. It just makes me feel sick.

Are you taking enough vitamin B and iron? I’ve been depressed most of my life, but when I eat well/take my vitamins I tend to feel better. Also drink a lot of water!
Finding a new hobby can also create some dopamine in your brain. Drawing, photography, working with clay, reading comic books, even just taking a walk every day to a new area of your neighborhood.
Best of luck! Been there! <3
I smoke and drink, MSG is the least of my worries :P
Animal rights. I love MSG (it’s literally just salt, not poison). I still eat fast food. I’m not healthy, but I do love not murdering animals.

for dating sites, I guess.

no lol, my hair is really short on the sides, like a couple centimeters. If you have super short hair then you’re supposed to cut it every 2 weeks to keep it short. It’s longer on top.

good to know!!

upvoted for use of the word “shonky”. I dig it.

You should probably trim the ends! 17 years is…kind of way too long to go without a trim. You might have split ends.

I think you’re technically supposed to every two weeks. I have very short hair and that’s how often I cut mine to keep its style. I taught myself to cut my own hair though, for most people this would be very expensive.

aand this is why I won’t buy a car made after 2010.
21 romaji lol. Just counted, it’s 10 katakana.
