I agree but I believe that’s why his underlings are using him as a front to destroy all checks and balances so when he does fizzle out, they can keep control.

He certainly has a lot of enemies but I don’t think it’s likely with his upped security being President again. I still can’t believe we were an inch short of a Trump free world…
I think it’s cool. Just another Mario kart game. Updated graphics and world exploring is neat. I would be loving this game if I was 10. In my thirties? Nah. $$$
Just gotta say I’m here for this energy
Well I certainly understand the pros of this but is training your kid to have a dopamine response everytime a notification comes in and buzzes their arm is dangerous, no? It’s like training the kid to always want that feeling for the rest of their life
No matter what you find works for you, I recommend building muscle memory with light weights. Don’t go hard immediately and expect great form. Figure out the motion and get used to it with lighter weights. That, and don’t worry what others think as you figure it out! I’ve seen the buffest people do the weirdest shit with bad form…nobody cares! People stare cause there’s nothing else to do or look at. Asking for help to a nice person one day is a good idea too. I can empathize, gyms can be intimidating. Good luck! It sounds to me like you know what to do deep down
I like how they put in italics “it listens to all your conversations” and yet it’s still third in the list. Reminds me of how most mass media approach mass surveillance!
I will go even ONE step further than others - if you are scared to start a software like Truenas scale that has a GUI has helped me. A lot of the options offered by others are great but can require a lot of command line stuff. There are a few OS’s out there that are more point and click that I had a lot of success with. Truenas scale runs the docker containers that others are recommending.
Tbh I think a lot of people bury that logical side deep down and compartmentalize. The narrative we tell ourselves can be quite powerful.
Want to truly understand how good it is? Try getting a specific thing out of a pocket with a thick glove!
Watched this movie when it came out. It was hot off the heels of Inherent Vice and Woody Allen had popped back into the zeitgeist after Midnight in Paris. This movie was just dreary sludge. It absolutely just is sad, male fantasy from a tortured artist. I agree with you! It’s too bad
I just moved north to Minnesota and the cold winters have somehow kept malls alive. Nowhere near the mall culture of previous decades but maybe worth a trip North sometime, if you miss it
This reminds me of my experience with COVID lockdown. Obviously, a pandemic and the vulnerable being sick and losing over a million American lives (and much more globally) was horrible. But for a short time, it was incredible to see the amount of people just visiting parks in the middle of the day and enjoying the warm spring that year. Getting outside to nature was a way a lot of people coped with the isolation and it was beautiful in a way. Moms and grandmas were sewing cloth masks, distilleries switched to making hand sanitizer, people in my area began using local businesses more. There was a definite sense of community, even if it happened through FaceTime calls and social distancing. There are always silver linings to tragedy, I guess.
Davinci resolve studio has had a pretty great AI de-noisier for awhile now! They also use AI to be able to turn off certain instruments/parts of songs ( and its local!)

My bad. I just don’t like generalizing large swaths of people and places as better/worse. Just feels like a slippery slope to saying “all Russians bad” or whatever groups of people because you believe are worse off. I get the point, I still think it’s problematic. I’m sorry

What exactly are you trying to say? I can barely understand this post. Do you have examples?
I think it’s because the United States is a large place and it helps place the region/culture they’re from specifically.
