That sounds cool, but it’s broken for me. The Reddit login page gives me a 500 server error. I want to point my old subreddit at my Mbin magazine, but it seems to require logging in with Reddit to do much of anything.

Heck yeah! I’ve been trying to replicate /r/FloatingIsFun’s post flairs for years on !FloatingIsFun@fedia.io . PieFed makes everything look better. I hope Lemmy and Mbin add these post flairs too. Mbin tags get halfway there but it’s not the same.

That’s definitely going to ruin people’s athletic careers, but at least this arbitrary definition has some merit in athletics. It’s important to say that getting disqualified this way doesn’t make someone a less “real” woman. Women can get disqualified from events this way. That’s why I’d rename them to the “open” and “two X chromosomes” contests.

OK, so hold up. This isn’t testing if a woman is trans. This test also disqualifies cis women who have genetic conditions that give them masculine physical traits. This article gives examples of women’s gold medalists who are cis but would now be disqualified.

We might have to replace the men’s and women’s categories with “open” and “two X chromosomes”. Cis and trans people of all genders might be surprised to find whether or not they qualify for the “two X chromosomes” category. Particularly effeminate cis men might qualify for “two X chromosomes”. This actually seems like a fair way to level the playing field, accomplishing what the current men’s and women’s divisions try to do.

I am a little worried about the idea of disqualifying athletes for having beneficial genes. This could have implications beyond women’s sports, like being banned from basketball for being too tall.

Whether you decide to fight or flee, I won’t judge you. Do what makes sense for you and your loved ones. This is a difficult decision. Don’t let Lemmy guilt trip you over it.

I have a family and kids that need me. I’ll support the resistance where I can, but I can’t fight on the front lines. I’m lucky I’m not a target of this administration yet, but if we go out and protest, we may become targets.

Tony Hawk Pro Skater (the first one is the only one exclusive to PlayStation 1, THPS 2 and 3 came out on PS2)

Hi! I’m an 0Ld Tony Hawk player, so let me break it down. Mouseover the acronyms for full titles if your client supports it.

THPS1 and THPS2 were PS1 first, and then ported to Dreamcast, N64, and PC. THPS2 also got a weird Xbox port with THPS1 levels in it. That’s not counting the portable versions and later HD remakes.
THPS3, THPS4, THUG1, THUG2, and THAW were all PS2/Xbox/GameCube first, and eventually PC too. The PS1, N64, and GBA got demakes of some of these games using the THPS2 engine, and they don’t feel right. THUG1’s PC port was exclusive to Australia and New Zealand 🤨. THUG2 has a PSP port. THUG2 PC mod THUG Pro is where the THPS community lives now. THAW has fantastic ports on DS and 360.
THP8 and THPG were 360/PS3-exclusive, but THP8 was eventually ported to PS2.
THPG and THDJ for DS were actually pretty good. Only the DS versions though.
We don’t talk about Robomodo’s games.
