All this you listed is the reason why we are fucked if we keep depending more and more on “this” AI and don’t get a revolution in the AI field to replace the current one with AGI. Because in ten years we risk losing a big chunk of expertise and if we don’t have an AI that can really replace the current one with something that can actually replace experts then there will huge infrastructure problems across multiple industries.

In order to keep you rotating at a fixed distance to the center, the wheel has to apply a central force to you to keep changing your velocity direction (which if left unperturbed would be tangent to the wheel and you fly off in a fixed direction like someone yeeted you). That is what will kill you.

On the other hand if you apply any time dependent coordinate transformation which has acceleration (i.e double t derivative non zero) you will inevitably change forces in your equations so that becomes your new universe.

I would normally be sympathetic to their stand except earlier this year when this first started, they called on Trump to use all available political leverages to prevent this and protect free speech. Calling on Trump to protect free speech is just absolutely ridiculous.
