I get what you mean, but it kinda sounds like you’re saying women aren’t people.

I’ve had no problems compressing Blu Ray MKVs into MP4s with handbrake (using MX Linux). My drive is a branded, internal one (I want to say LG or Asus.) I am at work right now, by I can look at the model number when I get home if you want. Interestingly, I have actually used it on both German Blu Rays and North American ones.
I was born in 1990, and I had a Teddy Ruxpin bear.
Actually, me too. Leos are supposed to be outgoing, but I’m usually not. Eh, exceptions prove the rules, right?
I’ve kinda made up my own pseudo science that astrology is real. However, it has nothing to do with the location of the stars when you are born.
Instead, the time of year when you are born affects your personality for life. Think about it: babies born in winter and constantly being wrapped in blankets and mostly isolated from others except around the holidays. Babies born in summer wear light clothing, and are more likely to have encounters with others, perhaps causing them to be more social later in life.
They’re free, you know? I have 6. Well, one of those is actually paid.
Oh look at this individual with all their potassium and hydration.
Fuck you. (Not really)
I am really enjoying it so far. I’m almost finished with the second map.
So many people seem to hate it for reasons I don’t quite understand. I also really liked Outer Worlds, though.
I’m enjoying the story, the characters, the inventory system - everything everyone else seems to hate. I really don’t understand why other people say the world feels dead. I guess I enjoy not having to run around to find NPCs who are always on the move? (Looking at you, Skyrim.)
Sure, most weapons in the game are exactly the same. But that makes the “unique” ones so much more interesting. I like that I can upgrade those unique weapons, so that they always stay useful. No more quest rewards that are already underleveled when I receive them! (Looking at you, Skyrim.)
I saw someone in this thread say they missed the “stolen item” mechanic. I’ll tell you what I don’t miss: becoming a wanted man because I took some food off a table in a common area or accidentally clicked and took one of the thousands of items lying around that are lootable.
I’m enjoying the Balder’s Gate 3 camping system, but I’m glad you don’t need to “spend” food for every night in camp.
My only “problem” is that it feels a little unoptimized. I get low frame rates sometimes that don’t go away even at the lowest settings, especially inside cities. But, it’s relatively minor. I can (and do) live with it.
It feels like a full game with no glitches on release, which is nice.
Although, if your glass textures all look frosted and weird, then turn “global Illumination” up to at least medium.
Being a native from The South, “Yankee” to me means anybody from the area above the Mason Dixon line. Full disclosure, I’m not proud to be from The South. However, I do find many Yankees to be at least a little bit strange. So, the designation stands in my head.
Rosebud!;!;!;!;
The top reason: the badge fell off for some reason, and I do not care enough to replace it.
You sure that’s hard wood? You sure it’s not laminate designed to look like hard wood?
Step one to fixing it would be actually finding out what it is.
At no point in the geological record has atmospheric carbon increased this quickly. We do not know if the systems can adapt quickly enough. Just because it’s not going to happen in my lifetime does not mean it’s not going to happen.
It kinda is the end of the world though. Carbon dioxide in the atmosphere dissolves into the ocean, making it more acidic. When it reaches a certain point, marine life starts dying. Complex terrestrial life won’t last long without it.
Not today, maybe not even this century. But, eventually.
This is why we need decentralized, open source porn websites.
So, head on over to LemmyNSFW.com and upload a pic of your junk.
Like everyone else, I suggest Lutris or Heroic Games Launcher for most games. Lutris has a relatively straightforward interface to walk you through what it offers. It can even help you install EA and Ubisoft games. Heroic launcher allows you to install games from the Epic and GOG stores. Minecraft has multiple launchers available. Plus, there’s RetroArch and DOSBox for most retro stuff. There are system-specific emulators like Dolphin for GameCube. There are even some fun, free games like “Super Tux Kart” and “Cataclysm: Dark Days Ahead.”
Everything I just mentioned is available for download using the “Discover” app in desktop mode of Bazzite. If you have questions about specific games, I might be able to help.
Actually, English is a Germanic language. However, you are right that this specific word in English is not Germanic.
Different use cases! One each for: my desktop, my laptop, my home theater PC, my tablet, and my gaming handheld.
(This is a joke. But, I do use a different distro for my tablet [due to the touchscreen] and my gaming handheld.)
I’m in a very similar boat. I’ve been telling my husband gently that almost nobody in my family makes it to 70…
