I’ll give a mention to FUEL, an open-world offroad racing game with a map that was over 5,000 square miles. The racing itself was fairly medium, but the absolutely massive open-world is something that I can see in Forza Horizon and some others
Legacy of the Dragonborn felt so laser-targeted to me when I found it. I would already fill the house display racks with named weapons - now I get to keep everything

I started playing Wesnoth something like 15 years ago because I was a kid who didn’t have access to ways to pay for games online. I’ve come back to it on-and-off years later - it’s a hell of a game for lasting that long.
