raising questions about what the new infIux of tr∞ps
Why is there an infinity symbol instead of two O’s?

TF = (what) the fuck
Sometimes people drop the “what” part

I have my update stuff put into a simple bash script that includes flatpak so that gets taken care of.

It still restarts and does the whole “Updating, please do not turn off your computer” screen. Does dnf take care of that all? Is it even necessary to restart?

Thanks, I’ll check those out

Haha I just got my kids into castle crashers after looking through my library for 2+ player games.
Awesome that the devs are still doing stuff with it.

Yeah it’s a shame the path Garmin is going :(

Also: Garmin recently enshittified by simultaneously adding an AI slop component that works by taking all of your recorded fitness and location data and doing gods know what with it, as well as a paid subscription tier to their obligatory smartphone app – the latter after explicitly promising for many years that they wouldn’t. So not only is their hardware expensive (and their owners are now rightly pissed), they’re also liars. I would not give them any money until they shape up, if I were you. Assuming they ever do…
Gadgetbridge works with most Garmin models. I have the Instinct 2 Solar and have never created a Garmin account or downloader the app.

I had some weird issues with my 3080 Ti on Fedora 41 and 42 and have recently switched to a 9070 XT.
Most games ran fine, but other programs acted strange while games were open. Space Engineers, Escape from Tarkov, and a couple other titles wouldn’t allow me to use other programs. The cursor would stay the same as in-game, even when alt-tabbed, and the Discord UI would become unresponsive.
I had several strange issues with my monitor flickering that didn’t resolve until I uninstalled and reinstalled my drivers.
I had a horrible issue with Minecraft and other OpenGL games that caused a strobing white screen while playing. I forgot how I resolved that one.
I had to reinstall drivers several times. I don’t know how much of it was self-inflicted or just how it goes on Linux.
None of these issues have come up while on my 9070 XT.

Just stock Firefox with the most up to date uBlock Origin (your version) should be sufficient. YouTube has been experimenting lately with some work arounds lately, so maybe you’re one of the few unlucky ones.

If you’re not opposed to doing it yourself, you can sign up for a free trial to Tidal and rip it.

It could have been an estate sale and changed hands a couple times, considering how old these are

Haha I came here to link this. One of my favorite videos.

I’ve never heard of xpipe until now - I just set it up and this is amazing

I saw this in “all”

People here don’t like Nintendo for their treatment of modders and emulator devs. Nintendo is a very litigious company and shuts down any fun project related to their IP.

Space Engineers. I set up a server for me and my friends with a few mods.
So far, we have an undefended asteroid with a ton of resources and production capabilities. It was attacked recently by a small pirate ship but I fought it off.
I’m in the process of making a large nomad ship - a mobile base.
Isn’t that phrase itself an absolute?
