I have the cheapest burr grinder from krupps that has a hopper. Works fine but certainly need to upgrade to get a better grind and measure the input better.

Glad to see you like the DF54 that’s been on my wish list for over a year but my current grinder is working okay. Otherwise there’s a lot of overlap for my setup, I have a Gaggia, similar WDT tool and tamp and really enjoying what I get out of all of it.

I have several US V2 plugs from athom.tech and they work great via home assistant. They just sit on WiFi don’t call home and are reliable through hoke assistant

It’s not only a carrier issue but it is an issue only with Samsung’s bought through carriers. Samsung obviously allows that or subsidizes them somehow. AFAIK with Samsung and carrier branded devices they have their own update schedules as well that is separate than just updates from Samsung.

Did you get the phone from a carrier? I’ve had 2 Samsung’s both bought unlocked from samsung and those come with no bloatware and for years I never had anything like that happen. My wife has an S23 from TMobile and has lots of unremovable apps and bloat.

Glad to know that option is available, I’ve been using DDG for years and use the AI assist like once a week when I have a really specific search about a movie or scene or actor or event happening 14 years ago going off memory. After about the 3rd search I actually get useful information from the AI assist.

Most recently I searched for “movie scene with slow motion cannonballs flying around while ship explodes” because I could remember that gif but not the movie. No search results were helpful, nor images or videos but the AI assist said it was a scene from the 3rd pirates of the Caribbean.

I have been trying to use jellyfin locally but subtitles have issues some times depending on the show or format. Also recently my wife watched 2 episodes more than me so we needed to go back 2 episodes and only way to do that from the Up Next or Resume screens was to start a new search of the show and click into the season and then find the episode. In Plex that takes 2extra clicks to get to the season and find the episode. I get supporting open source but for my jellyfin only has 70% of the features I use weekly on Plex. Definitely supporting it and trying to use it but it’s not feature parity for me
