I gave KDE a serious go again recently but it has some really annoying bugs on multi (3) display systems that affect me but probably not the grand majority of KDE users. Reported the issue, debugged it extensively, pinpointed the exact problem in the bug report and how to reproduce it (found out it also happened on dual screen setups). Then nothing happened. Ticket went quiet and it has been several months now.
I also had plenty of crashes in KDE apps.
I completely get the volunteer basis that KDE builds on, and I am not complaining that my issues do not get fixed. I understand it is being mostly built and maintained by people in their spare time and my issues are probably low priority. But for me personally it is stuff like this that makes KDE unusable as a daily driver.
“However, media reports have confirmed that no one was injured.”
Try harder.

+1 for Halt and catch fire. Truly amazing show.
So the US recession is not coming fast enough then.
Civil war when? When will people take to the streets to get rid of this guy who is making their country even worse than it was before?
Obama did not make Elon a narcissist cry baby now did he?
I get that but I still doubt there is some sort of plan coming out of this mans ass or that he is just senile.
Gitlab was created by a ukranian and dutch developer originally but today Gitlab stock is traded on Nasdaq and its HQ is listed as San Francisco (wikipedia). I use it selfhosted but I don’t think gitlab.com can be seen as European anymore.
Correct me if I’m wrong.
Not sure if they are any good now but I know the F35 had major issues as well.
So Trump and Putin meeting next week? I mean it is about time he finally gets his blowjob, the sexual tension between these two is really something.
Firefox. I can’t imagine they would do something stupid like this with the little marketshare they have, but nothing surprises me anymore.
Does ublock work with any of these alternatives?
Time for Ukraine to join the EU quickly. Tariff his precious minerals.
Orange fuckwit.
Someone’s 3D printer at home did some serious overtime there.
I have no idea either. Sure, chrome is a little faster but its a minor difference in my opinion. Been using it for a long time and have no idea why it’s so unpopular.
After many years of tiling wms I recently settled on Plasma. I found that tiling causes more issues than it solves (window rules much?!). For me tiling only is useful for terminals but there are other solutions for that (tmux for example).
I had to get used to not being able to do workspace per monitor anymore but now I am using Activities which works really well actually. I am a dev and have a 3 monitor setup, one for logging (bunch of terminals), one for coding and one for the output of the project I am working on (browser).
I also play games for which Plasma is perfect, its xwayland implementation is flawless, even on HiDPI which cannot be said of Hyprland for example.
Tl;dr I like Plasma.
Yeah wtf is up with that??
