You’re so welcome! Good luck getting whatever it is figured out!
Assuming it’s the same feeling, it’s such a weird one to try and describe. I think that rings true though: it’s like a caffeine buzz, only it makes you feel sluggish instead of energised. 😅
YMMV, but if it is diabetes, the good news is it probably won’t take too many changes to start feeling better. I just went as low carb as I could bear (probably more Atkins than keto, so nothing too drastic) and cut out caffeine (it can cause blood sugar spikes). For now, that’s enough to manage it without any meds or finger-pricks, and I feel so much better! You don’t even feel that deprived when you’re having rich, creamy sauces on everything, and I’ve lost 32 lbs in less than 3 months, even while snacking the normal amount. 😂 I don’t even really exercise!

This probably sounds stupid, but I just kinda… started feeling diabetic? 😅 Like, how I was feeling matched my extremely vague idea of “what diabetes might feel like”, so I asked for blood tests, and yep.
I don’t think peeing a lot was really part of mine. I just found eating usually made me feel worse instead of better, and I was starting to get occasional tingling in my hands and feet.

This may or may not be a joke, but yes, this is very often talked about among ADHDers!
I’m AuDHD and thankfully this is one area where my ordered, autistic side wins out – i.e. I have meticulously organised bookmarks and “Raindrop” tags for everything instead. 😄 I couldn’t stand having tons of tabs open.
Oh. In which case it still works fine for me, what can I say. 😅
Archive.ph is good, especially because I’ve never met a paywall it couldn’t bypass. 😏

Not that I’ve seen, no.

It irks me that all you ever hear about is “Ugh, Microsoft trying to force people to use Edge again”
And yet, when I did use Edge, I had to install an extension to remove the huge “We recommend using Chrome” banner on every Google service. 😬

I get where he’s coming from as a tech person… I’m old enough to remember chatting to ELIZA and Alicebot. The current state of AI is impressive to me, as well as “worrying” and “destroying the planet” and “being rammed down our throats” and all the other bad stuff.
It’s wildly tone deaf of him to say it in the middle of a backlash, though. 😬

What’s a better way to say “possibly possible”?
That is, it may be possible for humans to colonize Mars or create sentient AIs, or for you to lift 400 pounds, but we don’t know yet.
You answered your own question. 😁

Phones have cameras as well as microphones. Also, all public places have cameras. 🤔
Kinda feels like the opposite of how it should work, too. The people buying the most and supporting the video game industry get the worst deal. 😬

Mine was George of the Jungle but the reason is the same

Not that it isn’t scummy, but the screenshots in the article show that the Facebook app can be uninstalled, and the “Meta Services” app can be disabled. So it’s not the end of the world.

Yeah. In Tomb Raider 2013 she goes from crying about killing a deer, to wiping out hundreds of people with families, in the space of about an hour. 😬

My aren’t 😔

abortion
Use pro-choice, not pro-abortion; and use anti-abortion, not pro-life. Anti-choice can be used when talking about opposition to all reproductive rights, including abortion, birth control, family planning etc.

“We recognise that the thing Israel are destroying – with the weapons we’re selling them – is, in fact, a state.”
Well… maybe. You’ve accidentally come up with something that actually exists, called Delayed Sleep Phase Disorder. And about half of people with DSPD have depression. 😬 (Also common in ADHDers.)
The circadian rhythms of people with DSPD are offset compared to people without it, so it is a bit like time zones in that respect. And if you try to “fight” it, by getting up early and holding down a 9-5 job, the effects are often compared to jet lag.
