Last time I tried to generate subtitles for a German TV show, the subtitles were more inacurrate than what I would have written down (German is my third language and I struggle to understand anything that isn’t voiceovered) and timing was so bad I didn’t even bother to generate subtitles for the second episode.
1·28 days agoI’m on fedora at the moment so I’m a few months back but it still lacks some native apps and could really use some extensions system but I just love its feel, even though I miss Gnome’s consistent design and extensions.
Man, I can’t decide if I like more Gnome or Cosmic.
4·28 days agoIn most cases they don’t really bypass anything and they simply have a premium account that they use to either download your file to their server and provide a link for you or forward you stream from tue hoster.

Don’t go anywhere near them without ublock origin and shortlinks bypasser. Paying a little to a debrid service may be way less inconvenient than trying your luck with these sites.
9·1 month agoThey had announced the end before they started the boycot so everyone at Sony knew it’s nothing to worry about.
This boycot action didn’t make sense even in the beginning.
Having my messeges go through a third party does not seem like the best idea for me but thanks to your post I am finally about to get into matrix chat and set up my own bridges on my home server.
I can’t force people off these platforms but at least I can get these apps off my phone.

What problems?
It fixed itself for me. I’ve just tried it on another website and it works fine.
I guess it was a CloudFlare issue because it’s just started to work again.
Same here. It doesn’t work on Zen either.

I guess not allowing flatpak wine to access anything that is not necessary is the easiest way to achieve it. No idea if it is also the most secure solution.
