Are you still attempting to influence that adage becoming well-understood by the common man? I dare say that I don’t believe that will come to pass.

If I ever form a politically-themed comedy band, we’ll be called John Barron and the P-Tape All-Stars.

Yeah, that would be something to see a professional about, I think.
That shit is trippy as fuck to me, and not in a good way. More of a Twilight Zone sorta way.
I took Bupropion exactly once, and that day happened to coincide with the day of a first date. There was not a second date. I’d say something to her, but it wasn’t me, it was the “me” who was standing about three feet in front of me. I swear to Cotton Eyed Joe I could see the back of my own fucking head.
Needs a column for “makes you feel like you are Being John Malkoviching as you linger behind your own eyes and watch another version of yourself interact with the world while being confused about who is actually controlling your vessel”, and put Bupropion at a 12.
You don’t have to go cold turkey. Just shop at websites that don’t say “Amazon” in the URL
That’s not a boycott. That’s waiting until payday to shop.
There needs to be a succinct way to say “Never shop Amazon again if possible. If you absolutely have no other option, don’t do it March 7-14.”
Yes, the EU will certainly kowtow to him and bend the knee. 🙄
Yes, it’s safe, it’s very safe, it’s so safe you wouldn’t believe it.
…
No…it’s not safe, it’s very dangerous, so be careful.
The niche thing you just bought just two months ago and that no one would ever need two of in their life.
Is it live*
Texas schools need $X funding. The Texas Lottery was meant to add $Y dollars to education. The lottery was sold to the public as meaning schools would be funded to the tune of $(X + Y) each year.
Instead, the state funds $(X - Y). Instead of supplementing education funds, the lottery supplants it. And it’s the exact same thing with tipping culture.
(I’d bet this is how most state lotteries which fund education operate.)
I don’t see MAGA people as the enemy because they want to pay less in taxes. I see them as the enemy because they don’t think my kids should exist in society and are actively passing legislation to make it so.
Delete this shit take.
In the book Tomorrow, and Tomorrow, and Tomorrow by Gabrielle Zevin, the main character Sadie is a video game designer who created his game in which you play a worker creating factory parts. If you ignore what’s going on around you and just focus on winning the game by making the parts better and faster, eventually the game ends and it becomes clear that you were creating equipment for Nazis during the Holocaust and, thus, you lose the game.
Movies love to have twist endings in which something would have been obvious if you were paying better attention. I think more video games need to do this as well.
Will it not come to fruition?
