Nice work on the cheap repairs! Which brand, if I may ask?

Exactly this. I recently had my clothes washer break. Spent days researching the problem, taking the thing apart, figuring out the cause was the spindle on the back of the drum having a crack and eventually breaking. I eventually found a replacement part which had a slightly different part number but research showed it should be compatible. $400 for the part. $130 shipping, plus tax came out to just shy of $600. 2 week lead time to get the part, and no certainty I’d be able to put it all back together. Professional appliance repair wouldn’t have made financial sense either, I called around.
I ended up ordering a new one for $800 all in, saving many headaches. Had it two days later and was able to catch up on laundry.
Also cities and counties.
Same-ish, with chronic fatigue. This is the way.
To add, if you’re not drinking, take a pain med (Tylenol, neurofen, etc) before as well, to help your old ass bones and joints to not be sore. I usually start hydrating heavy a day or two before. I usually graban Organika or other electrolyte powder instead of Gatorade, and grab a b12 and Coq12. Oh and comfy shoes! Nothing worse than being at like a second or third day of a festival, unable to stand because of sore feets!
For the occasional time where I’m troubleshooting something and Reddit has the only solution on an “unmoderated sub” or one with 18+ posts, I just change the “www” in the URL to “old”, and get the old, non mobile friendly UI. It lets you bypass the other app popups, etc. Sometimes when you go into a post you’re back in the new UI, and might get another pop up, but backing out or changing the url to “old” usually solves it in my experience.
I read this a lot as well, and I think for a time this was true, but in my experience with a 1070 and 1080ti, Ubuntu and Fedora worked fine with minor tinkering, pop_os and nobara work out of the box. Currently on nobara, and most apps and games work just as well if not a little better than on Windows. A mate of mine runs nobara with a 3080 and no issues there either.
We’re only a few steps away from having to drink our Mountain Dew verification cans.
Report: I’m in this photo and I don’t like it.
I’m only considering this because of some articles I read that went over it, but they were a few years old. I could see how that could get annoying though, just with the frustration I’m experienced now with multiple drives.
I don’t think the system and apps exceed 40GB to be honest, the rest is filled with steam library and video/photo scratch that will move to the NAS once that’s done.
This is so wholesome! What a fun ritual.
Same here! My loaves are usually only slightly toastier than this.
What an absolute beauty!
Oh dang, used to love playing this!! Also the basketball game, and flight simulator was ahead of its time.
Looks like any HDMI device, and they list the Switch in the description.
Cool! Bosch is going to be my next set of appliances after I sell my current place, and my new place needs new ones.
