I was born with one and it was partially corrected at birtb. I can’t stick my tongue out far, but I have none of the other issues you’ve listed (partly because I’m a woman married to a man).
I highly doubt you would regret having it done as long as you’re in a clean environment with a surgeon who knows what they are doing

On Wednesday, we updated our Sexual Content Policy. Our primary goal in making these updates was to make our guidelines easier to understand and enforce.
Part of this update included changes to how we treat fictionalized nudity. For years, through UserVoice and in conversations, we heard from artists that our content policies were limiting. In making this update, we were trying to be responsive to these requests and allow the thriving artist community on Twitch to utilize the human form in their art.
First, we want to make clear that some streamers, in response to this update, created content that was in violation of our new policy. We’ve worked quickly to remove that content and issue channel enforcements.
However, there also was a great deal of new content that was allowed under the updated policy. Much of the content created has been met with community concern. These are concerns we share. Upon reflection, we have decided that we went too far with this change. Digital depictions of nudity present a unique challenge–AI can be used to create realistic images, and it can be hard to distinguish between digital art and photography.
So, effective today, we are rolling back the artistic nudity changes. Moving forward, depictions of real or fictional nudity won’t be allowed on Twitch, regardless of the medium. This restriction does not apply to Mature-rated games. You can find emote-specific standards for nudity and sexual content in the Emote Guidelines. We aren’t making other changes to the updated Sexual Content Policy.
We are in the process of pushing out updates to our Community Guidelines that reflect this change. It will take a few days for both this blog and for the new Community Guidelines to be translated.
While I wish we would have predicted this outcome, part of our job is to make adjustments that serve the community. I apologize for the confusion that this update has caused."

Idk. I recognize a lot of my beliefs and behaviours as cringe, but I think I’ve cringed so hard at them that I’m now on the other side of that. I look back at my ignorant, gullible, past-self with compassion and the understanding that I’m still likely holding on to incorrect beliefs (and that I’ll likely continue to grow through them) It’s partly why I tend to be so argumentative, I think. (How do you grow without challenge?)
I currently hold the belief of: Love yourself, it’ll help to generate more compassion for those around you
(Though I confess I still have many moments of wanting to call people idiots, and it takes a lot to realize that I, too, could be the idiot. It’s a process, ya know?)
Yeah, I’ve noticed Lemmy has started to be less tolerant of different ideas/opinions lately. Not a fan of that.
We need open discussions and disagreements, and being as civil as possible helps to facilitate that. Otherwise things devolve, some become afraid to voice their thoughts, and trolls thrive off of the attention.
It’s super important that we try to remember there is another person on the other side (even I fail at this at times, but we need to keep trying!)

Depends on the game, for me. I couldn’t imagine trying to play a game like Stellaris on a console- but a game like Horizons is better suited to a console system. I play Skyrim (yes, I know) with a controller on pc, tho. Husband and I played Diablo4 with me using the console and him using his laptop with my wide-screen moved into the livingroom temporarily

That was my thought as well. I’ve seen what some homeless people are capable of. (Not trying to dump on unhoused people, here, but there are some seriously ill people left out on the streets). This glass needs to be nearly unbreakable for it to work
Same. My mind makes up random words to sounds all the time, so if I dont have context or lips to read, the sentences I hear people say are just wild.
I repeat things back to people wearing masks so that I can be sure that I understand them. It annoys some of them, but whatever

I’ve answered two recently, but hadn’t answered them for about 6 mo to a year or so.
Before that- probably 3 years ago, now, I contacted the carrier about spam texts from websites and that stopped, though I still get spam texts from numbers (mostly political)
This number belonged to someone who was ditching creditors, so I think they eventually sold the number and it just gets passed around. Half the reason I keep it is so that it doesnt get released to someone else (it’s like something out of a pass-it-along horror movie)
Most of the time I dont care, but occationally I leave the volume up for some reason and end up with a 6am wake up spam call. I can ignore it 90% of the time
They do not go away. I have literally forgotten about this phone to the point of it being dead/drained for an extended period of time… they calls never stop
I would just like to point out that the Holocaust was not JUST Jews. Other people were persecuted as well (such as LGBTQ+ peeps)
