Same here. The first book was great, the second and third didn’t grab me as much.

Working my way through Return of the Crimson Guard by Ian Esselmont. Going to take a break from Malazan after this and dig into shorter stuff I’ve been meaning to get to.

That is more analogous to if firearms were misfiring and killing their users. Then the manufacturers of the firearms should be held responsible.
