No. It’s boxing day for me.

I’ve recently gotten into New World: Aeternum. I’m on console so my MMORPG options are limited but I’m really enjoying it. There’s dungeons, raids, world bosses, collecting, crafting and more.

Dude just casually dropping a whole essay. What a boss.

I had no interest in Android gaming ever until I read this reply, now I’m going to try some of these.

Straight up ska (in addition to what other people have said): Streetlight Manifesto, Mad Caddies, The Interupters, Big D and the Kids Table, The Specials.

If you wanna go old school and to a couple of biggest influences on modern ska and way more punk: Choking Victim (later morphed into Leftover Crack) and Operation Ivy (morphed into Rancid).

Roots (like ska but a bit more chill): Stick Figure, The Expendables, Rebelution, Pacific Dub.

You may also like Sublime and the band made after that Sublime with Rome (although personally I don’t).

Also something not quite ska but kinda in the vein of, shameless plug for a great New Zealand band called Fly My Pretties.

I’ve driven past Zebras and Giraffes (and more) in Africa and it’s absolutely beautiful watching those creatures chilling just doing what they do.

Also an awesome post metal band Isis. I have a t-shirt of theirs with the lyrics to a song called ‘Dying Light’ which is about death, the afterlife and reincarnation sorta stuff, needless to say I haven’t been able to wear it in many years.

According to the trophies, only 8.8% of players complete Part 1, with 4.4% completing Part 2. For context, Part 1 would take a new player maybe 20 hours, with Part 2 being a tiny bit shorter. Imo the most likely reason for this is new players bricking their characters. PoE is extremely complicated and if you don’t know what you’re doing you’ll build and gear your toon so wrong that you’ll get to a point where you can’t progress and you don’t have any way of fixing it.

2.3% of players reach level 80, with 0.9% reaching level 90. Context: After completing the campaign you’ll be around level 70, getting to 80 isn’t difficult, long or hard. Level 90 requires a slight investment of time and effort.

If you’ve never played PoE before these stats might seem low, but for people that have played it I’m sure it makes a lot of sense! It does to me anyway.

So there was this man in Bulgaria who drove trains for a living.

He loved his job. Driving a train had been his dream ever since he was a child. He loved to make the train go as fast as possible. He was found guilty, and was sentenced to death by electrocution. When the day of the execution came, he requested a single banana as his last meal. After eating the banana, he was strapped into the electric chair. The switch was flown, sparks flew, and smoke filled the air - but nothing happened. The man was perfectly fine.

Well, at the time, there was an old Bulgarian law that said a failed execution was a sign of divine intervention, so the man was allowed to go free. Somehow, he managed to get his old job back driving the train. Having not learned his lesson at all, he went right back to driving the train with reckless abandon. Once again, he caused a train to crash, this time killing two people. The trial went much the same as the first, resulting in a sentence of execution. For his final meal, the man requested two bananas. After eating the bananas, he was strapped into the electric chair. The switch was thrown, sparks flew, smoke filled the room - and the man was once again unharmed.

Well, this of course meant that he was free to go. And once again, he somehow managed to get his old job back. To what should have been the surprise of no one, he crashed yet another train and killed three people. And so he once again found himself being sentenced to death. On the day of his execution, he requested his final meal: three bananas.

“You know what? No,” said the executioner. “I’ve had it with you and your stupid bananas and walking out of here unharmed. I’m not giving you a thing to eat; we’re strapping you in and doing this now.” Well, it was against protocol, but the man was strapped in to the electric chair without a last meal. The switch was pulled, sparks flew, smoke filled the room - and the man was still unharmed. The executioner was speechless.

The man looked at the executioner and said, "Oh, the bananas had nothing to do with it. I’m just a bad conductor.

Deep Rock Galactic? It has the mining component…that’s about it though. It’s co-op mining along with first person shooting combat.

I know it’s not exactly what you asked for but I thought I’d throw it out there.

After looking at the picture of the bridge in the article, it looks like it should have either been fixed or blocked by a large only moveable by heavy machinery barrier of some description.

What if someone was using a 15 year old paper map? Would they get to sue the cartographer?
What if the bridge had collapsed yesterday? Last week? As much as I don’t like Google, I don’t think they’re at fault here.

Hell yea the poop knife. His family had one because their shits would block toilets. He thought it was a normal thing to require and have a poop knife but after going to a friend’s house and asking for it, he discovered that it was indeed (Samuel L. Jackson voice) not a normal thing to possess.

On reddit someone did a “I’ve slept with my mother, AMA.”. The story was he broke his arms and his mother helped ‘relieve him’ and then it progressed.

But damn the beer is good. I don’t like beer or alcohol really, but I make the exception for Bavarian or most German beers.
