Good to know! I’ll check that out. I remember hearing something about this in a review.

ALMOST fooled me
I need to start that second one!
I love that these games are getting more attention! I recently played Aria of Sorrow and I loved it.
That was fast
I don’t remember when I got to play SMB but at that time my friends had a SNES or Genesis. But I played the hell out of it!
I’m also from ‘85 and had forgotten about SMB releasing that year. Now I gotta do a play through on my birthday. Great setup btw!
And I thought my issues were because the dongle was bad. I mean, it’s still bad (lack of shielding) but I thought it was a range issue.
Nintendo has a bad track record on this though, the recent Donkey Kong release has this issue.
A JSAUX Dock, Vader 3 controller, and Phillips SHP9500 headphones.
MK8 is amazing. I was actually playing it again this weekend with my kid, the Wii U version. It’s fantastic.
That’s what the hard shell case is for, just prop it on top of it
That’s a shame. I remember I was very impressed by this game when I played it back then! I didn’t finish it though.
Good to know it runs well! Games from that era sometimes are very picky with controllers. Try this:
Prince of Persia: the Lost Crown
Yeah, I love we can do that if we want, even though I don’t do it much myself
I used to be stricter with that. Now I consider retro any platform that are 2 generations behind (for the ones still active in the market). So PS3/360 and earlier.
I didn’t play the others to say it for myself. People have said exploration is more organic on the other games of the series.
I liked the gameplay but I disliked the mechanic of having to beat an arbitrary amount of bosses to unlock the next area.
Thanks for the posts!
