After having seen the chapter, my anger (see my comment on brief spoiler post) has cooled down a bit, because the frames look really good. Also, seeing the dialogue with frames, the back and forth between garp and roger, how they are emotional is special too. I wanted the fight to last longer, but another truth is, I don’t want any of them to take more beating.

Also for people who constantly keep asking why garp has not left the marines - listen directly from the goat’s mouth - “If I leave, who is gonna save the marines”

Interesting point left out by spoilers is that rayleigh and gaban went back to the island (seemingly towards roger, and they would be the ones who would seemingly get roger and garp out, as they would also be knocked out for exerting all their haki).

While oda previously has drawn bizzare future version, I do not remember him writing “if something happens”. my guess is that that future is the one where luffy loses, and imu wins and since imu has interest in viv/lily. SAINT ROSWARD ROSWARD is a very interesting thing. for those who may not know, there are many theories for what the D stands for, and one of them is that it stands for Davy. It’s audience got split when we learnt that xebec is Davy and goes by Davy D Xebec. Either it stands for something else (dawn/dusk/devil being other major candidates) or that it stands for Davy only (as in Davy Davy Xebec).

There are some other things hinting it for davy davy, like tony tony chopper, all fruits following the repition scheme as well.

So considireing this, either Oda is calling all people rooting for davy davy stupid, or he is hinting that the possibilty is still there (as in, in the world, repition is accpted). Either way, goda is playing us all fools, as is epected by goda.

I do not think so. xebec’s family (percievably) did not resist it. my guess is it depends on how strong your will (haki) is. seemingly only xebec is the one who could even resist.

(most of these are community beliefs). No, current idea is basically D are all families (monkey, trafalgar, nefertari, etc) who were with davy/joyboy in the lost century.

I never expected it to be a letdown. but i certainly did not expect to get GV so soon or so good. i expected it to be on par with or slightly succeed marineford. currently, (imo), we are even past that.

this is becoming more common afaik. why blow away your cover in a vm where you would not even get much (unless you are just a miner, but even then performance is worse), especially when checking if we are running in a vm is reaaly easy.

(not a windows user so maybe wrong). afaik it is effectively a vm (or something like docker sharig kernel, but not filesystem, but not sure) where you can test a executable. it is only available to pro accounts though (so not the vast majority of home and oem installs).
