There are many people who have to bathe sitting down (e.g. the elderly). Something like the device mentioned in the article would be useful for such people, especially if mobility issues make it difficult for them to clean themselves.

Can anyone ELI5 how we are able to release new standards all the time? Are there technological advances that allow more bandwidth? If not, why not start with higher bandwidth?

I find GIMP so difficult to use, but I can’t justify the expense of Photoshop for hobbyist use so I’m keeping at it. I wish there was something that at least had a similar UI. So many easy tasks in PS are crazy complicated in GIMP.
