I was asking if this is a common misconception as I had assumed the userbase here was generally pretty tech savvy, and confusing GPS with internet seemed particularly strange.

There is no “uplink”, eg transmission of data from the client back to the satellite.

Is this what people think? That you need an internet connection tion to use GPS?

Power button is a perfectly valid way to turn off a modern PC. They don’t kill power the way they used to, they send a signal to the PC to shut itself down. Exactly the same as using the start menu.

Roblox uses luau, which is similar enough to Lua that it absolutely does teach you transferable skills. Knock the platform all you like, but it’s not so dissimilar from other game engines that you come away with nothing.
