Xfce has been my main desktop for 15 years. I keep trying KDE and Gnome every now and then, but Xfce just delivers serious reliability and just enough configurability to make it great.

Bigots lke you always use “objective fact” when they mean their small-minded ideas they focus their bitterness/resentment on. If you had any evidence, you wouldn’t need to refer to it in such a hyperbolic way.

Snaps are generally slow, use more bandwidth on updates, and tend to be inconveniently restrictive for security purposes. It just makes way more sense to use apt for anything that isn’t gaming-related.

This really highlights the need for real science in science, and not just random speculation. Things can get confusing very quickly for a great many subtle reasons, and people need to be wary of that.

Haven’t heard that bullshit FUD in years. Wherever that came from you can rest assured is a source of fraud and graft.

It’s pretty amazing even just to think about light traveling for over 13 billion years. Even just bumping into a little cosmic dust every other million years or so might throw off the redshift a bit.

This should be chiseled in stone for people to see thousands of years from now.
