I’m 35 and I should not be advising absolutely anybody.

I can think of a few sacrifices.
For some reason, I read this as cream of pistachio soup and got, really, way too excited.

Couldn’t that be easily communicated without individual measurements? Like, people with long legs/arms do this, people with ling arms/short legs do this, etc? Generally curious: my partner is 6’4", and this could be useful for him.

In high school I had a friend who would fall asleep in the shower

Seconded!
My grandma had a chair with a horsehair cushion, so that’s where my mind got stuck for a minute.

I know this is off topic, but herd tracking? Critters? I’m always curious about people’s lives.
Fucking scabs, I feel a similar sense of disappointment that I felt talking to women who said they didn’t vote for Kamala Harris or Hillary Clinton because their voices were too shrill.

I got really excited about the Pirate Party in Iceland a few years ago. I’m not sure what happened to them (it’s hard to get news from other countrues sometimes) but one of their big initiatives was a crowd-sourced constitution. It was the first time I’d thought about something like that being really possible, and I think that if it weren’t for the one percent of the population who are megalomaniacs, the internet could be truly democratizing.
In the meantime, sign a strike card on the completely decentralized https://www.generalstrikeus.com/, which is also a pretty exciting notion to me. Sadly, I’m now considering what leaders might float to the top if we ever do reach 3.5% of the population… Decentralized organizing does not mean decentralized leadership. Hm, i’ll have to think about that more.

We are getting to a point of no return… or at least a return that would be very, very difficult to achieve. But it’s all done in a very calculated way to make you feel like everything is going fine if you’re not directly affected. It’s fine if the Supreme Court approves of these power grabs, right? And, how can I pay attention when there’s so much going on, right? But Trump is demonizing groups of people as enemies, defying constitutional rights, and making power grabs never before seen from the executive branch in this country. It’s only been a few months and it keeps getting worse.
We’re in very deep shit. Sign a strike card! https://generalstrikeus.com/

Labor unions were integral to both of these movements. Students may not have learned much about labor unions in school, but the political elites sure have focused on dismantling them.
The workweek strikes in France a few years ago were entirely organized by five or so labor unions. They wanted to maintain their 35-hour work week. Can you imagine?

We will join if we hear about it

Graphene lists all the pixel models they support and for how long. https://grapheneos.org/faq#device-lifetime
Finally had to ditch my 3a this month because Google is psychotic and it’s too old for graphene or lineage. Sucks bc the phone still works great. I’ve temporarily got an 8a running graphene, and am loving it, but will be switching to a 9a shortly for non pertinent reasons. It is such a weird feeling of relief to be on a secure OS.
How about Martin Sexton? Youtube - Martin Sexton - Black Sheep
Well, my dad was the black sheep such that his mom thought he was possessed and needed an exorcism, but even after she came around he still had that same classification among my aunts and uncles. Now, long after my grandma has died, he’s still the odd one but the siblings are all very fond of each other. Not sure if grandma’s Catholicism started it all, or his undiagnosed ADHD, or just generally being the oldest and quite rebellious in a large household, but it’s all love these days.
As a math teacher, I hate “sixth” or “sixths.”
