2·5 months agoI’m in a rural place and I just have DSL for my house and LTE for my phone. Lived here 20 years and that’s the worst thing about it.

9·6 months agoIt’s the new Doom. I loved that game as a kid. The first PC I had to play it barely ran more than 10 FPS, but it was playable. I couldn’t win the car races though. On our second computer, I was amazed how well it ran.
I should play it again for nostalgia’s sake.

4·7 months agoNobody gives us service out here, I’ve checked with Verizon, TMobile, and AT&T. Best I have is my cellphone, which I can use as a hotspot, and it’s typically only on 4G/LTE. I’ve gotten 5G connections a few times, but rarely.
It took me 2 days to download a 90 GB game, and I can’t play anything online because the connection will just drop.
And I’m still on DSL, no more than 10 Mbps… Fuck us rural people, right?
3·7 months agoI don’t have a Steam deck, but from what I’ve seen and read online the Z1 Extreme processor in the Ally is more powerful than the Deck, but the Deck’s batter lasts longer. Personally, I’d say they’re both really good choices. I got the Ally because I was playing a lot of Destiny 2 on it.
I truly love my Ally. It’s even better with Bazzite. I’m so impressed by the power it has. I hope the Ally 2 has a much bigger battery.
