Because it’s just the outer layer, and the print is still there. Your new outer skin is just the old under layer.
If you damage your skin enough to remove the fingerprint, it doesn’t grow back. There are lots of people without fingerprints due to the types of work they do
Could also be rare in an algorithmic sense. If someone randomly uploads it to YouTube in 2007, only gets 12 views and it just sits there unwatched for years

I’d bet they’re steam controller touch pads, and they’re quite a bit bigger than the final steam deck ones. Probably normal sized sticks too, with that in mind. The sizes are relatively identical to my steam controller
