Substack! It’s very academic-coded but you don’t have to be a real professional of any kind. I think you just have to be aesthetically pleasing enough for people to think you are intelligent. I read a guy on reddit talking about how he’d just get drunk and try to get people to flirt with him.

Give me a second. I have to remember the name. It’s pretty mainstream, I think people will dislike that I’ve described it the way I did when I drop the name.

That formal blog place. The one with all the art hoes but it isn’t art, it’s like philosophy and collegiate stuff. I’m spacing the name.

You made that up –.–
Gin’d up. Get out o’ here
you leave my muddah out 'o this!

Didn’t it get a reboot? I remember my cousins and I discovered the original on an Asian bootleg device with 400 games or something.
The humor sensibilities really got to us

Maybe this is on me for engaging to the extent I did, then. I definitely had set out to have a conversation about how religious groups should be more welcome on Lemmy.
I’ll consider what you’re saying about it being a choice that shouldn’t be given the same graces as statuses given through birth. There’s something developing there, but I’m going to have to reflect on that for a while.
But you should consider how on one part of your argument you’re saying women are being compelled to wear their garb and then concluding that belonging to religious frameworks is strictly a choice. This is walking right past their autonomy in a very selectively invalidating kind of way. Though I’m going to try to just take the merits of what you’re saying and leave the rest.

To my knowledge religious status is protected by law from discrimination in the US to the same extent all those others are? Laws are a poor measure of morality but it’s saving the jobs of women who need to wear religious garments in professional settings so it seems moral.
But looking at that church’s Wikipedia page it looks like they’re one of the only denominations to be institutionally changing to include LGBTQ. Seems a little curmudgeonly to say they’re outside the scope of inclusion, especially given the resounding victories progressivism is having in the united states lately

Not very inclusive. Do episcopals have some sort of stigma I’m unaware of?

Are you certain these are unique accounts?
That’s not what you think it is but I’m touched that you would chime in
There’s probably going to be a lot of that in your future. Everyone else is already used to… you

I am coming to your location right now to serve you this court summons. Please provide me with your residence so I can serve you this court summons. It is unlawful for you to not help me find you and give you this court summons :(
You’re right. It’s the requirement be granted editing privileges. Try to keep up. Or go read the rules before you whine. Or just stop playing dumb

Not me, I was fast as fuck boah!
Life’s hard when I have to have the bare minimum of rigor before vandalizing public works

Check out Sleep. I needed it because I have a horrible tendency to turn off my alarms without waking up. Even when they’re across the room. This one can have a password or some simple math problems for you to solve so you can’t turn it off until you’re at least awake enough to 6x7+3
It also has a setting for low intensity alarms that can increase over time on a gradient that you set. This made waking up way less traumatic than the blaring sirens it used to require when I was a teen or worked cancerous shifts that started and 1 am and the like. Eventually over time I reduced the alarm down to just a vibrate with no sound, and I often wake up as soon as it starts at its quietest.
Your sleep habits are a thing you can cultivate and it’s amazing what they do for your mental health
It’s not a place or group, it’s an interval of time. Approximately 15 seconds.
