I use my towel in the opposite direction of what’s shown here. Although there shouldn’t be an issue if you’ve cleansed thoroughly (and I do), I personally cannot get past the thought of drying my ass and face with the same exact part of the towel. Luckily, I let my face air dry for skincare purposes.

I bought the latest of some devices earlier this year, but didn’t have cash to buy a completely new PC. I’ve decided if my older desktop breaks, I’ll just have to get a “cheap” laptop & install Linux. Hopefully things stabilize within the next few years as manufacturers shift production.

I will admit, I can maybe tell if a video is AI and can listen when something is AI (the way it speaks and the formulaic feel are dead giveaways for me), but often cannot tell if written word is AI. I am not looking forward to its technological improvements… 🫠

Yeah, we do a lot of inner fighting and it is difficult to get through it. I even find myself getting frustrated at people, who earn twice as much as me, complaining about how they live paycheck to paycheck. The cost of living is not high here (and I save a lot myself), and I think about the wealth I could build if I had their income; basically I think, “why are you complaining??” But we have to remember we are on the same team. We are all ultimately getting screwed over by the owner class.

A few months ago, I did a fresh install of Windows 11 with no access to any personal files, etc, all done on a separate drive. After seeing all of the changes, I am glad I haven’t used it since. Holy moly.

I totally would love a tiny house. Hell, land is still affordable where I live and it’s still feasible to put a trailer on it and chill.
I wouldn’t mind permanent apartment living either if they built the buildings better. I don’t want to fall victim to a neighbor who doesn’t take care of their home; basically if they have rats or make noise, I don’t want the rats nor do I want to hear the neighbor. It’s just too much to deal with the older I get.

Racists never wish to discuss the nuance. When discussing culture, behavior, and intelligence of the black population, they never wish to discuss the myriad of variables that would cause any negative outcomes. It’s so complicated and does not come down to one race being superior. I will never understand racism.

Yeah, stuff like this makes me wonder if the peasants of the that time thought the rich looked ridiculous when/if they saw them…

This shit is making me more & more glad I switched back to Linux. I’m even thinking of actually learning to code to continue its support. These businesses are just fully mask off at this point.
My entire job is basically reading manuals 🙃

Even parents want a break from kids.

It’s like that at every gas station where I live; every single one. All of the small gas stations have been bought and sold within the last couple of years and upgraded to this stupid video ad model.

At some point around retirement age, humans seem to cognitively revert back to children
I haven’t seen that happen to everyone I know around that age. Many still have their wits about them and see the current state of affairs as a clown show. Some are even out here on the streets protesting.

Scottish courts ruled, and then upheld in the Scottish government’s favor, that sex is “not limited to biological or birth sex,” and must include those in possession of a gender recognition certificate (GRC).
But that was challenged in London’s Supreme Court by campaigners. And, in its ruling Wednesday, the country’s highest court said the meaning of the terms “sex,” “man” and “woman” in the U.K.’s Equality Act must refer to “biological sex” — with any other interpretation deemed “incoherent and impracticable.”
And here lies the issue. Maybe I am understanding how society and science are defining terms in these cases, but: doesn’t woman/man = gender (which differs depending on culture, time period, etc) and female/male = sex (which is a medical/scientific term)? It appears both sides of the table are trying to make these terms mean something they do not.
Either way, I see no practical point in actually making a law defining these terms, especially when the legal definition is not even correct scientifically speaking. There are so many biological changes that trans individuals go through when they medically transition and society will see them differently if they “pass” in their society. Also, sex isn’t so black and white either.
Currently in my (I think) 4th year out of 5. I took them because I kept getting adenoid infections and wanted to avoid two surgeries. Has been a major improvement, but I still have to take an allergy pill every day and the occasional nasal spray. Hadn’t had another infection since year 1. You have to get shots every 3-7 days for several months and then they slowly spread it out over time. I’m once a month now. If you don’t have insurance it’s very expensive, especially the first year.
Personally, I think either option is valid. Not everyone is cut out for the fight, and especially if you have children, it makes sense for a parent to do what is best. I wouldn’t blame anyone one bit for leaving. I honestly haven’t created an exit plan this far, so I might just end up staying and fighting.
