It’s something they should have worked out back in 2017.

Did you not know about the magical incantations that would silence them? The AT codes for the modem were a lifesaver if you were trying to get on the internet without anyone knowing.

Their math is off by an order of magnitude. The US has about 4.25% of the Earth’s population, not 0.4%.
Assert.IsTrue(true);
There! That’s a passing test but doesn’t test anything. That’s why you write your own tests instead of having a machine do it for you.

Not always true. I got a notice from my ISP for downloading Airplane! which was released in 1980.

There’s 22,239 people in the Clacton constituency that voted for frog face himself last month: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2026_Clacton_by-election

And this is the Channel 4 investigation they refer to: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aXut3s90rUI
It may be blocked in the UK to force users there to watch it on the Channel 4 site instead.

There was plenty of it going on around here. Even after Napster was taken down, there was Kazaa, Limewire, and your choice of Gnutella client. It was mostly us downloading stuff to listen to on the bus because high speed internet was rare unless you were in a city.

It appears to be banned in the US under 15 USC 7704(a)(3) because it’s neither one click nor does it allow the user to open a menu to select the types of messages they want to receive: https://www.law.cornell.edu/uscode/text/15/7704
Work forced me into keeping a smart phone. The key fob I was using for MFA died and they were no longer replacing them so I had to use the app.
It’s worked out well so far for me without a data plan. My family is fine with call, text, or e-mail options for talking to me or sending me things like their football picks. The only time it sucks is when I lose power and have to resort to sparing use of mobile data to know when it’s coming back on.
It’s also filtered out a decent bit of text spam because the ones with pictures are MMS instead of SMS and the former requires mobile data.
Maybe Dan Quayle is running the bot. He couldn’t spell potato either.

And make them a very obvious color like blaze orange, neon green, or optic yellow so it’s very obvious they are not normal glasses.

Good luck. We’re all counting on you.

Unless you’re JD Vance. Then the best time is January 21 or later when just over 2 years has elapsed in Trump’s term so it doesn’t count as a term against you by taking over as acting president. Unfortunately, Vance and at least half the Cabinet have to agree to him being incompetent before he can be removed from office.

I had a can of it and made some Reuben sandwiches.

It’s from a prediction market site (which is just gambling in a trenchcoat and Groucho Marx glasses) where you buy shares in the prediction of an outcome. That’s the price for a share in “Yes”.

I thought that’s been the case since 1917.

No way man! I’m gonna keep rockin’ forever…
I’m sure there’s room in Hell for him. There’s some houses in the area: https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=16%2F42.43369%2F-83.98514
