KDE wayland has global hotkeys, so does hyprland. seems like a skill issue for Wayfire.

Yeah the open air slavery was pretty fucking worse than guaranteed human rights.

Do you? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1950s_in_Hong_Kong
It was invaded by England and made to be a British Colony for decades where slavery was openly legal, HK had no control over its fate whatsoever, and the UK enforced a strict class and social hierarchy where native peoples were massively oppressed compared to Brits.
It’s actually genuinely disgusting you’re defending both imperialism, the genocide that the imperialism fueled, and violently hostile occupation of a foreign land.

Hong Kong is mainland China, now that they’re no longer under colonial guidance from England. There’s a reason Dr. Chan is so pro China, given the hell he grew up in in occupied hong kong.

All LLMs are neural nets, not all neural nets are llms, but they’re similar enough to have the same general flaws. 'Neural Networks" are misnomers, at best; especially given the designs were first being implemented before we had any real idea how neurons actually worked. It’s why Brain Organoid interfaces still completely destroy entire simulated interfaces in pretty much any task we’ve managed to actually train them on.
It’s also how we know we’re not close to the software or hardware capability to actually do anything complex. The best that we’ve been able to do is simulate a fly’s brain with a super computer.

Real answer:
Depends on who manages your 401k. Some servicers do allow ‘custom’ or otherwise ‘alternative’ management options, with some allowing you to focus on specific companies or industries.
Others might take your call at least and if you raise enough of a stink you might get shoved into an alternative plan out of spite, but that’s what you want, so you win.
Take out all your money, pay off the fee, use the money to buy a used Komatsu D355A crawler tractor and at least a half pallet each of of concrete bags and rebar as well as an extra diesel tank and a decent amount of diesel. Then just find your local senator’s personal home and

Well given that’s the only possible relevant “AI” you could possibly be talking about, as we don’t even have an inkling about true general AI and have no technologies that even look like they could produce anything close to it, forgive me for making the obvious assumption.
No, in 20 years no version of any technology currently in use will be replacing human employees or would have the capability of doing so. AI Bros jumped the gun and tried starting to do that with current tech, and now most companies are desperately hoping just throwing more compute power at the dead ends will make it magically work before the money runs out.

Because AI bros are incredibly deluded about both the capability of AI, and by extension their own capabilities using AI>

Hahah… no.
LLMs are a dead end. They will never come close to human capabilities.

Actually it’ll be pretty limited because you AI-bros pissed off the normies you need to approve your giant data centers. over 400 plans for Data centers have been delayed or permanently stopped because people do not want them anywhere near them. They don’t bring jobs, they ruin the local water table permanently (on a human scale), and don’t provide any useful function as there is not one single AI service that is profitable.

Name one single use case for LLMs that shows they are better or cheaper than humans.

You believe Norway has nuclear capabilities and can independently act militarily as a nation against a nuclear power?
Which one of us is ‘deranged’?

Ukraine has essentially received materials and nuclear protection from the entire western world. The US has explicitly stated they will retaliate (well Biden did) if nuclear weapons are used. They are lucky they are white enough. They also just genuinely surprised the western world in the first two weeks, as it was assumed they would fall, given the country’s history of extreme corruption and multiple intelligence agencies presuming their lack of military capability would fail them long before Russia ran out of steam.
While e.g. Norway is white, and notably less corrupt, there’s only so many times the entire western world can rally behind a country being attacked. If any multi-polar attack were to be launched but not turned nuclear, there’s very little that could be done for some of the victims. Some country would fail to be protected, and they would fail.

I was, you assumed otherwise. Norway submitting to France’s ‘protection,’ means they must always agree with France, they cannot ever go against France, otherwise they’d lose protection.
That’s being a vassal state. Vassal states are and were states not powerful enough to defend themselves, so they sought protection from Empires that felt it would be too costly to conquer them but still needed some of their resources.
Nuclear proliferation is the solution to prevent vassal states, and have an actually independent Norway. Unless you’re a nuclear power, you do not have an army. You do not have any form of defense. It does not matter what you do, you are under the vassalage of a nuclear power. Picking France over Russia is fine, I guess, but the effect will always be the same.

Or we could just not build new data centers to run AI models that have zero practical use?
We could also just not build data centers in already drought-stricken areas just because those areas are majority poor and majority POC?
We could also find a usecase for AI first, and then worry about the expansion later?

According to all known laws of aviation, there is no way a bee should be able to fly. Its wings are too small to get its fat little body off the ground. The bee, of course, flies anyway because bees don’t care what humans think is impossible. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Yellow, black. Ooh, black and yellow! Let’s shake it up a little. Barry! Breakfast is ready! Ooming! Hang on a second. Hello?

Have you seen french people?

Both negative (when bell, I will hit you) and positive reinforcement (when bell, I will give food) are associated with Pavlov’s dog experiments (for shockingly obvious reasons).
For PTSD and other traumatic things, this is an example of negative reinforcement; something bad happened and something neutral happened, now they are associated forever in the victim’s mind. i.e.
Soldiers seeing their friends get blown up while in a humvee and associating any music playing or the humvee engine sound with that scene.
When you have a ‘Pavlovian response’ it is a stimulus (bell) that makes your mind consciously or unconsciously remember the reward/punishment (food) that happened at the same time; causing an involuntary response (hunger/salivation in the original experiment).
